Conservatives Already Turning Against Their ‘Twitter Savior’ Elon Musk
Prominent conservative Twitter accounts have already turned against their "Twitter savior" Elon Musk after he confirmed that some banned accounts will not be coming back to the site. Conservatives are still claiming that they have been "shadowbanned" since Elon took over, though they offer zero evidence to back up these claims. Musk is now in a lose-lose situation, which is the icing on the cake of this whole fiasco. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Elon Musk has now owned Twitter for a week, and man, it could not have been off to a worse start for him, after he initially said that he was gonna start charging people $20 per month to have their blue check marks showing that their account was verified, author Stephen King came out and said, This is preposterous. So Musk responded to that and it's like, Okay, but how, if I what? What if I just do like eight bucks a month? Would you pay $8 a month? Like this man who's supposed to be a business genius is out there haggling with celebrities on his app, trying to find out what kind of price they would pay to have that little blue check mark? Not, not exactly inspiring confidence, uh, for anybody thinking about advertising on Twitter. Oh, and that's the other thing. A lot of advertisers and the agencies that they use for their advertisements are now saying, We're gonna hold off on spending money on Twitter for now. So this 44 million, a billion dollar investment that Elon Musk just made, not really gonna turn a profit, which of course is probably why he wants to charge us eight bucks a month to keep our little check marks. Advertisers are pulling out. And what's even funnier is the fact that conservatives, the same ones who heralded Elon Musk as a champion of free speech, you know, champion of Free speech, the guy that canceled someone's Tesla order because they talked crap about his company in a blog one time. Yeah, that's a free speech warrior for you folks. But anyway, conservatives are because he's not reinstating all the people that were banned because he is going to have a content moderation board. And because some of them claim they're still being shadow banned, which is just an excuse Republicans use when they put out a tweet that isn't very good and doesn't get a ton of likes. But here is what one prominent conservative account said. This is a conservative account called Cat Turd Two. It has hundreds of thousands of followers. It is very influential. Nobody knows who runs Cat Turd two, but Cat Turd two said this this week. I admit when I'm wrong, and I was 100% wrong about Elon Musk changing Twitter. The new Twitter moderation Council was just a bunch of far left fanatic groups who were never targeted here. No average Joe's, no real conservatives, no one to represent the people actually targeted y'all. Y'all weren't targeted cat turd. You had some people on your side that engaged in hate speech, that engaged in violent rhetoric or dangerous misinformation during a pandemic and, and they got in trouble for it because that violated Twitter's terms of service. I'm sorry that that makes you mad, Karen, but that's the way it works. There were plenty of liberals who got busted for that kind of stuff too, by the way. But here's what's funny. Liberals were already off at Elon Musk because we don't want an oligarch owning the public town square. Now conservatives are turning against him. So yesterday, Elon Musk in true Elon Musk form sends out a tweet saying, Oh, you know, you're doing something right when both sides are mad at you. Yeah, cope harder. Buddy. Elon Musk is literally out there saying, I've pissed everybody off. Ah, what a good business man. I am. No, I don't. I don't know why I need to explain this to you, but apparently I do. When you piss off your entire customer base, do you know what they do? They don't buy your product dipshit.
