Britishvolt valuation plunges 96% in blow to UK EV ambitions :ROFLMAO:​


The UK’s ambitions to become a key player in the global market for electric vehicles suffered a blow today after the valuation of battery start-up Britishvolt fell over 90%.

A rescue deal has valued the beleaguered EV battery maker at just £32 million, according to reports in the Financial Times, down from the £774 million it was valued at in a funding round in February last year.

Ford has only themselves to blame. They are ending their highest selling car of all time (Fiesta) and moving all F-series to EVs (highest selling truck of all time) as they caved to the Davos/Uniparty pressure to go all-EV. They now have ONE life line...when the semiconductor shortage ends this Spring and the F-series Lightnings start shipping they better selling like crazy or Ford's going to be a relic we discuss of the good old days. Last week they came in more than 6% off the expected revenue number and said they left $2B on the table from 2022 because of poorly planned supply chains. Assuming those folks already bought their new car/truck the last gasp is this summer
