EKG was unbelievably good in the bowls and NFL playoffs last year, was solid over the regular seasons. I used his picks quite often, not sure how he was doing it, but he was uncanny.
But this year, nope, he faltered very badly, I have no way of knowing what happened. During the regular season this year he was harassed brutally by several ignorant posters here, pulled away from this forum, and that might have taken him off of his comfort zone and altered his judgement. A pity. I quit giving his picks strong consideration 7-8 weeks ago or so.

This. I posted asking about his record and was verbally harassed and abused by his groupies. Funnily enough it's the same people that preach about record keeping that suddenly decide posters like EKG should be exempt. Keep your f*&( records consistently or don't post at all. Don't give a crap who the person is, everyone is human and gets destroyed from time to time. Which was why I even went into EKG thread questioning, because I saw him getting destroyed this season.
We will never know the full story and dont need to. At some point it seemed admitted that these weren't longer based on players action and 'needs' but line movement and things he tailored or observed as cues. Trends. Run in the 2015 NFL playoffs was the stuff of legends, no doubt. Looking way back, at some point he was just capping NBA long ago; threads are in the archives. Then either took on persona of being a bookie or started booking. The guy knows his stuff in terms of betting and line movement. Just goes to show that no one is made of steel every year. it is very, very hard.
