Let's hope the Investigator Meeting and the subsequent AKI Conference in SD, went well. Massive Option grant to the two key players in Management (CMO and CEO) was just announced. Could be interpreted a variety of ways. Financials towards end of March, with a more important and accompanying Corporate Update expected. On track and trending positively, or off-track and trending poorly? Would be nice to get an update on the DIMI Trial as well. Overdue.

I wrote the company without a response yet, weirdly I've always been answered when I've emailed although I was fairly unhappy when I wrote the email and sorta let them have it. I'd doubt much is happening ,I can't see granting warrants in this volume with material news brewing, unless you like the Canadian equivalent of the ESC visiting for a hello meeting.

I don't necessarily think there is material news...but I'd like to know if the Tigris Trial is back on track, and if it is trending according to Best case or Worst Case. And, if it's worst case, why did the BoD Compensation Committee approve so many options, when that is the two key players principle (only?) role right now (i.e. to keep things on track) ?

It looks like these are incentivized for the next years work .This is something they could clarify, are milestones involved? if so what are they and why wouldn't you inform those who've supported Spectral ? if they had the interest in happy shareholders this whole grant would be in the open. The stick and carrot is now being used in the office apparently.
Here's an interesting take on performance share units by the Royal bank of Canada. It's short and sweet and explains that these are an incentive based on future performance. We don't know the performance milestones but partnership/takeover would be my 2 big ones. Here's the link.

Thanks. Three kinds of Options. The regular kind are quite high in number, but the PSU and RSU's are large allotments in and of themselves. There are many possible milestones as you mentioned. For example:
  • 90 Tigris enrollees by XXX month
  • completion of the Trial (PMX)
  • FDA Approval (PMX)
  • start of DIMI Trial
  • completion of field phase of DIMI Trial
  • FDA approval of DIMI for Home use
  • Baxter payment # 2
  • Baxter or other purchase of PMX rights for NA
  • Sale/Spin off of Dialco
  • SP = $ XX
  • etc.

yep, it's quite the cache, company disclosers are embarrassingly vailed from shareholders.
Good luck pal.

Disclosure is not their strong suit. Getting by with the absolute minimum seems to be. Likely why they prefer to incubate in Canada and avoid the SEC (which in an of itself is pretty toothless - but looks like a Viper compared to Canada). But it is also why it is still an excellent ground floor opportunity for newbies (if they do their research and are trusting by nature)

Oddsmakers are putting the over/under at 40 for the end of March. I'll take the under, but hoping that I am wrong.

I'd like a look at the incentive markers before I'll lay another bet here. Even at 34 cents.

You actually think that they will share those? 40 means they are on track for 90 by Oct 22 and another decision for Baxter.

Not publicly.
I haven't bought anything for my IRA this year though.

I took advantage of the November/December sale. Seemed like the decline post July 21 financing was too well orchestrated. I'm more of a contrarian. There seems to be a least a couple ways to win on this one. Small risk, IMO, that they face plant completely on two Trials ... especially with Baxter and DaVita kicking the tires.

Rumors 35. May onwards 8+/mo. Should put it on track for 90 (Interim Data Release) by late fall.
I expect DIMI Trial news any week now.

Spectral enters into an agreement to supply pumps to ARC a south Florida provider.
In the background I think a company called Newco a new spin off from Medtronic and DaVita is looking to make a play on someones pump soon..for-sure no doubt there will be a play by Medtronic its just who's pump will they go for and what will the take out price be.

up 19% early today on yesterdays opening news

The Trial participant may give us a clue (if released). There are not a lot of FDA pumps out there approved for HHD. Less than 4? And there seems to be several reasons why those that are available, aren't necessarily a great choice, for the fast approaching paradigm shift.

Next stage - Fresenius
Outset-1.5 billion down 35 % today on bad news Also the pump is thought to be a rehash..hence the "Add on" and FDA flag. Founded with silicone valley money.
Quanta ( euros) ..has a market it's developed in Europe, raised 245 million last year in the US... it'll be an expensive acquisition..I don't know a lot about the pump.
DEKA- CVS..locked up.
Baxters AMIE or whatever it's called...NFS
The Spectral machines... No partners/ Under capitalize in a big way and clearly ready to sell the company.

If the thing is what they tout ...it'll be sold.
One plus, I still think the feds would welcome any deal when looking at the Fresenius market domination.

Am I missing anyone pump wise?

Up 30% in two days...Not a big deal given the past but its nice to have proof of concept.
