I'm the kinda guy who hates politics, but I lean right. I hate waste more than anything. Bush was ok in my book until he dragged us into useless wars. That was waste on a massive scale, lives and money. I truly believe BO is just a political piece of shit. I truly believe he could just give a rats ass. It's just gonna get worse. It's politics only from here on in.

I have economic views that are not consistent with Obamas Presidency and it has nothing to do with him. He cares deeply about this country. He just has no chance politically to do anything. Congress is worthless.

I don't think anyone thinks he doesn't care. He's had the last 4 years to work with congress. He promised he would unite congress and work with them to get done the job he was hired to do. He would be the great uniter. Instead, he wasted 4 years now. He has had every chance to do something but he's either so completely incompetent or his ego is too big. I suspect both. Hopefully in November the American people will do what they should have done in Nov 2010 and give the senate to the gop as well. Maybe then, he can salvage something from this wasted 8 long years. You blame the GOP, the GOP blames the dems and Obama, AK blames the GOP at every turn while completely absolving Obama of anything. He's perfect right? Its all the republicans fault. Blah blah

Sorry AK but the only you've said in this whole thread that makes any sense and that resembles anything close to fact is your last sentence.

Congress is worthless.

How can you blame Obama for stuff that is not being done? Congress is literally useless and it doesn't take a rocket scientist or the mayor of Common Sense Town to figure out why. Republicans have turned the debate in to how much are you willing to cut. That's one thing I do not like about Obama. He should work harder to educate America on why we should be spending more. He is too educated. He has to dumb it down a bit so people understand.

Cut welfare and handouts. How many budgets has Obama worked on and seen it through since he has been President. Bottom line, he was not and is not prepared to have this job. Senator, sure....All he ever voted was present. Status quo with the Congress you mention.

He is too educated.....lol

Can't argue economics with you. I don't have the back ground. The economy is in the crapper. He's had time to stabilize this shit. I did not say fix it. I've been in business since 93.
BO's first 4 were the worst of my business life. This past year is going good because I've managed to adapt. I've left new construction and changed to restoration and insurance work. Most people don't have that option. Will you ever stop backing this guy?

You can argue economics with him, you live life and run a business. You actually practice economics.

He's some IT kid that only knows what his really smart English professor taught him, literally makes "the dumbest" arguments on the forum.

You have to practice economics, he talks out of his ass and the stench is getting worse daily

I'm not backing him at all. I have said for two years if these policies continue the economy will be in the shitter. This is no shock to me at all. The Republicans are blocking any and all economic stimulus measures. There is no stop to this. Even Ronald Reagan's chief economic adviser and Paul Krugman agreed that our future looks bleak and the only thing that would allow the government to spend the money necessary would be another world war. The economy is never going to grow like it used to until government spending is increased significantly.

And BO's first 4 years were the worst of many peoples lives. That's what happens when the country loses $17 trillion of wealth. The entire globe suffered from it. That's just a logical fallacy to tie it to Obama. Economies don't just magically recover from a $17 trillion loss of wealth.

I'll stop backing him when he advocates destructive Republican policies.

the douche blames "republicans", how fucking original. Oblivious to the facts that Obama got his stimulus, got his Obamacare, got his tax hike after tax hike after tax hike, got his increase in welfare expenditures, got his increase in regulations and got the higher energy prices he espouses. He signs one executive order after another. Only a mental midget, a/k/a libtards, can blame "republicans".

He cites Paul Krugman, somebody he tells us he never cites and an ultra liberal we universally mock. Like our resident economic and monetary expert that works in IT or something, he too thinks money grows on trees. Calling fratfraud an economic expert is akin to calling a super model from Poland who never watched a football game and expert in offensive line blocking schemes in the NFL

He blames the loss of 17 trillion dollars in wealth. It's as if he doesn't know the market has been surging since March of 2009 once the overhype from the pending doom was exposed. It's as if he didn't know that wealth has all been recovered, yet the economy still sucks.

now he wants to take credit for predicting this outcome, when it was his opposition doing such and not him.

that shit's just as dumb as it comes

This is Obama's economy, this horrific extended stretch of economic malaise has been seeded, watered and nurtured by Obama.

It's the result of higher taxes, increasing the costs of doing business, increased regulations (axe people and businesses applying for loans), the clusterfuck known as Obamacare, higher energy costs which the least prepared man in the room espouses and fights for, anti-business rhetoric and the expansion of the welfare state and the massive uncertainties the clusterfuck brings to the table each and every day.

This is Obama's economy, and this is exactly what I've been predicting will happen. Not our resident self described genius.

"Paul Krugman agreed that our future looks bleak and the only thing that would allow the government to spend the money necessary would be another world war" - fratfraud

"Unemployment checks create jobs" - Pelosi

Half the people are idle on food stamps voting for a living and fratfraud's really, REALLY "smart people" can't figure out why the economy is so sluggish and unproductive!

Only a world war can save us economically!!

The comedy keeps getting better and better!

Obama is not "educated" about economics, and nothing he's ever said on the matter shows he has an interest in becoming familiar with the topic.

Obama is an economic illiterate. Just like you.

Anyway, now that we see Obama has spent more than Reagan, let's note the difference in the results:

The economy grew at 4.5% in 1983, with a few quarters of growth higher than 8%

In just one month -- September 1983 -- the economy added more than a million jobs. For the full year, the economy added almost 3.5 million jobs. In the first four months of 1984, employment growth hit 1,564,000.

In the post-stimulus Obama era, the economy grew at a whopping 1.7% in 2011

And of course the unemployment rate went up above 10% and stayed above 9% after the Obama/Democrats "stimulus"

If you think government spending crates jobs or Obama hasn't tried spending with laughable results, you're an idiot.

Keynesian economics and these laughable 'stimulus' theories are the broken window fallacy on steroids.

These idiots have absolutely no clue how to create new wealth and growth.

Obamanonics is what happens when academia runs the show.

Only another world war can save us economically!!

hahahahahaha....priceless! :pointer:

Guys you can throw valid stats and facts at Aktard all day long. Waste of time, a troll is a troll is a troll. It is obvious to anyone who cares about the welfare of this nation what is going on in DC. Obama promised Change, he never said it would be for the better. As for Hope, that is out the window as long as he and his party have control. Meanwhile, it is what it is (I hate that expression as much as you do LOL).

Spent $100,000 to get a degree only to end up a Barista? You're not alone:

Young adults are living with their parents at much higher rates than before the Great Recession. Many cannot afford monthly rental costs, let alone come up with the down payments they need to qualify for mortgages.

Among recent college graduates ages 20 to 29, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports, unemployment stands at 10.9%, more than three points higher than in 2007. A study from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York finds that of the recent college graduates who have managed to find work, more than 40% are in jobs that do not require a college degree; more than 20% are working only part-time; and more than 20% are in low-wage jobs

Classic AK.

On one hand he admits the Obama economy has failed.

On the other hand he claims it’s not his fault.

Conclusion… Why does the USA even bother having a President?

And one thing is for certain, if Obama tried to work in the private sector he would be on food stamps.
