The recession left millions of college-educated Americans working in coffee shops and retail stores. Now, new research suggests their job prospects may not improve much when the economy rebounds.

Obstruct and blame. The facts show educated people are doing much better than uneducated people. Not sure what your argument is, lol.

Um, note:

1. Nobody said that "most grads" are doctors, lawyers, or engineers. Nice straw man

2. There is no such thing as a "menial job" in the legal profession while you earn a law degree. You either have a JD and then pass the bar - requirements to practice - or you do not. Further, being a resident (or intern) in the medical field would not make you in any manner, shape or form, in a job that does not require a degree as you need to be in medical school or have to have completed medical school to hold them (medical residents are paid).

3. Do you even realize how stupid these posts make you look and do you even read this idiotic drivel you're posting before you post it?
You understand you quite literally have no idea how someone becomes a doctor (or attorney) right?

It is so "basic" that you fell flat on your face and posted a comically stupid example to try and back it up.

Note the poster in question can not back up this absurd comment.

I did back it up, the graph clearly shows that new grads have a very high underemployment rate. Anyone who has ever been to college understands that finding a job in your field is not easy after college for many majors. That's why they historically have high unemployment and underemployment rates. But this conversation isn't about what happens with new grads, the details clearly show that people are better off in the long wrong being educated and the numbers are getting even worse for the uneducated. Your entire argument is ridiculous, lol. The data is as clear as day.

Um, no actually, that is abjectly false.

The reason why they have "historically high" unemployment rates is because there are fewer people working than when Obama was sworn in.

Facts don't lie, only conservatives like Acebb do.

You didn't back anything up.

Um, the recession is over.

The research clearly talks about after.

LOL

The affects from the recession are not close to over. Menial growth, government cutting tons of jobs. It's no wonder employment statistics aren't great. Obstruct and blame.

Note: when you can not deal with facts that make your claims a bit, well, specious, you come up with idiotic bromides such as:

To get experience, most college grads take jobs that do not actually require a degree. It's been that way for decades.

You can't read.

You can not bring yourself to read anything that does not fit your world view.

To get experience, most college grads take jobs that do not actually require a degree. It's been that way for decades.

You are not smart enough to even follow the conversation.

You made a claim: To get experience, most college grads take jobs that do not actually require a degree. It's been that way for decades.

You fell flat on your face trying to support the absurd claim.

You did not "back it up" at all.

To get experience, most college grads take jobs that do not actually require a degree. It's been that way for decades.

It's funny how you are so stupid at debating that in one debate you are arguing that most college kids get jobs that require degrees, in the other argument you are arguing that college kids can't find jobs and are very underemployed. So what is it that you are actually arguing, lol. Never seen someone try so hard to sound smart in my life. Take a step back and make a coherent argument. My argument was based on a study that shows the gap in earnings between college grads is at it's widest level in 48 years. Instead of arguing that you are now arguing about recent college grads, underemployment, people living with their families. Almost everyone of your arguments deals with individuals 16-29.

Your desperation is amusing. The facts are college grads have had a difficult time finding jobs in their fields right after graduation. That's just something most educated people know. It's not some new phenomenon either. Been going on for decades. You don't even know what you are arguing, but it's amusing to watch.

You made a claim.

You can not back up the claim.

which is why you're busying posting charts that are irrelevant to the claim.

Your lying is pathetic.

You keep making this claim, you can not support the claim. It was funny to watch you pretend doctors or lawyers were examples.
