Wil, I thought the same thing and just knew your response would be because of Fisher for Titans.

Even though, I still feel like they will slip a bit for other reasons. I just feel Broncos are still questionable at QB.....aging........and Clinton Portis, who's now gone, was one of the few gamebreakers in the league......

Hache - I quess it depends how you define slipping. Will either win the super bowl, probably not, will both make the playoffs, most likely. This type of discussion while interesting is futile because nothing can be proven for months. If I had to take one team between the two I would go with the Titans to stay strong even without the Freak who has been a non-factor of late, as has Eddie George.

agreed Wil..........Excitement grows near.......I even avoid watching NFL Europe because I don't want to ruin it or even give any chance of getting burnt out on football.......

Actually,
The Falcons are easy to forget about due to Vick's injury, but they will be tough

Jim Mora Jr. new Falcon head coach remains a big question mark. As 49er defensive cooridinator the last 5 years he didn't exactly set the world on fire. Falcons' jury definitely still out.

I was going to say JAXV. but taht seems to be more popular than i thought they would be here. So believe it or not Im going to say the Arizona Cardinals. they finally have a great coach and should have a decent scoring offense which should help their under-rated and over-worked defense.

AFC too tough, balanced, & deep, thus harder to break upper crust..but shade Jax, Pitt, Den, and Houston(if ever get a decent passing game going) as choices to replace Tenn in playoffs.

The NFC could have 50+% turnover from last year's playoff reps..Minn, Wash, NO, SF, TB, Atl, Det, NYG all could claim a Div or WC spot.

Next year's Carolina?

NFC..Seattle, Minn, & Dallas as legit Super Bowl longshots..coaching, defense, and improving talent for Hawks & Boys, improving D for Vikes.

AFC..Balt or Jax have the physicality & defense to reel off win streaks vs NE, Indy, Mia, Tenn, KC, Oak, Den,etc..if get better offensive consistency.

Next year's Panthers may just be the Panthers?..the best DL in the league makes for a team that appears is here to stay.

Not that they would be anything as surprising as the Panthers, but I think the Seahawks are almost certain to at least get to the NFC Championship game. After Philly and Seattle no one looks consistent enough to contend right now.
