Would be nice if they would stop settling for FG's and go for TD's, that crap almost bit "us" in the ass today.

Yep I was hoping someone would bump this post. I was at the Linc today and it was AWESOME! The place was more mellow though because it was assumed going in we would kill these guys. 30-8 is all good!

Name the only team since the 1999 Super Bowl Champion St. Louis Rams to win 5 in a row by double digits:

YOUR 2004 PHILADELPHIA EAGLES!!!!

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!

Sport,
No double digits on 10/31. They won't be booing or saying Duce, they'll be saying Muuuusa. Seriously, that game could get ugly for the Ravens with their lack of O.

LOL Jacks...it really burns me up seeing 22 in a Peelers uniform but what can you do? Westbrook is our future and he's going to be great in this offense.

As for Halloween...it's a real shame that's not the Sunday Night game because the atmosphere would be insane. It's going to be crazy enough as that is all anyone talked about at the end of the game today. Which worries me a lot because I don't know how they are going to be focused for the Browns with the Ravens and Steelers on deck. Our fans here want both of those games to be W's that's for sure.

If the Ravens have Jamal Lewis back I would be a little more worried about that game because the run D is average. They played great today though against a gimpy Davis if they had struggled I'd have been really upset.

:breakit: Yeah too bad we don't get Buffalo or Miami twice.

Giants are 4-1, Steelers are 5-1, Vikes are 3-1, Ravens are 3-2...this schedule is tougher than New England's hands down.

Sportbet Relax

I said to myself when I made the post watch someone take this the wrong way and try to compare the Pats schedule to the Eagles card. The fact is the NFL is parity ridden with only a few very good teams including the Eagles, Pats, Jets, Vikes, Colts and maybe the Broncos with the Steelers, Seahawks and Falcons coming close.

004 Schedule
Date Opponent Time/Result
Sep 9 Indianapolis Won 27-24
Sep 19 @Arizona Won 23-12
Week 3 BYE
Oct 3 @Buffalo Won 31-17
Oct 10 Miami Won 24-10
Oct 17 Seattle Won 30-20
Oct 24 N.Y. Jets 4:05pm
Oct 31 @Pittsburgh 5:15pm
Nov 7 @St. Louis 5:15pm
Nov 14 Buffalo 9:30pm
Nov 22 @Kansas City 10:00pm
Nov 28 Baltimore 2:00pm
Dec 5 @Cleveland 2:00pm
Dec 12 Cincinnati 2:00pm
Dec 20 @Miami 10:00pm
Dec 26 @N.Y. Jets 5:05pm
Jan 2 San Francisco 2:00pm

Call me crazy but it looks likes the pats have a tougher schedule to me.

Even though I did well with the Eagles today I still say they are overrated and Mcnabb will choke when playoffs get there.

Perhaps the Eagles are reminiscent of the Steve Young and the '94 49ers. After 2 painful defeats in the NFC title game, there were lingering doubts on his ability to win the big match-ups. The rest is history. Something tells me the Eagles will follow the same trajectory. A couple of losses will definitely keep them honest help their focus. A little self doubt is great motivation.

By playoffs I assume you meant SUPERBOWL, although they've been there before too. Three straight NFC title game losses means they've been to the playoffs in recent years. They beat Carolina yesterday while on cruise control. Could be the Eagles vs. New England.

You can expect EVERITHING at Browns stadium. If they ( Browns ) should be able to play well on the road too, they may be a contender.
