I understand "racist" and "racism" gets throw'in around way way way to often in our "woke" culture these days.

But this is plain as day.

Doesn't even remotely know the guy....but he knows enough that he was "living to die" and needed further college not to jog on highway. Great takes Gil.

Yeah. Because of this happened to someone like Mason Rudolph I am sure Gil would have had the same knee-jerk reaction.

Its amazing how triggered people get over a word. In this case plain as day.

I am not going to pretend I shed a tear or what happened to Haskins had any effect on my day.

Not also going to pretend more college would have had any effect on outcome or he was "living to die." Most have had a pretty intimate relationship with haskins for these takes.....OR...

Haskins didn't exactly have the best history of decision-making, which probably was the guy's mindset. Probably shouldn't have said it then lol but that was probably the driving factor.

There definitely wasn't any hint of racism in his comments. It's pretty alarming how dependent the left has become on identity politics. They actually have some reasonable ideas, but it's overshadowed by this pathetic identity bullshit.

People seem to forget that Haskins has a history of poor decision-making.

If you want to go Pats way of "hey the dude is 90 let it fly" then true can't argue that. Like i said previously, he shouldn't have apologized he should have told us how he came to his opinion.

Just the all or nothing in our country. One side everything is racist and other side nothing is racist.

It's really not hard to connect the dots on ole Gil's logic here. Hell blacks and other minorities are just as or at times can be more racist. The only difference is white's control more...It's human nature. Doesn't mean it can't be worked on though by all sides.

Haskins had behavioral problems for a very long time. He was an extremely immature human being who probably shouldn't have entered the draft (though I'm glad he did so we could play Justin Fields) .

I don't agree with everything he said but it sounds like his opinion was valid to me. Timing was just insensitive, though he's apologized for it
