I can't way to bump this thread when it happens

Again, not much of a "wager" or a reason to bump. The Nats are loaded....and were picked by many to win (or be in) the World Series. They got hit w/ a bunch of injuries. If the front office does it's job this off-season, they'll be a front runner again next year.....no matter who is managing.

They should have looked to the future instead of "right now" in the hire....

Nats are not as loaded as you think....Zimmerman and the shortstop will be gone and nagging injuries to others....and the bullpen has questions...

Again, if the GM does his job this team is ready to make a run..... Ian Desmond hit less than .230 most of the year. The "nagging injuries" I would hope will be healed up 6+ months later. Yes, the bullpen is where they need to shore things up. Zimmerman? The pitcher or 3rd baseman? Jordan Zimmerman has already been replaced w/ Joe Ross. Saying a team that was favored to win the World Series the previous year will make the playoffs isn't exactly going out on a limb....

So basically your position is this. If the Nats have a bad season you are proven right that dusty is a bad hire. If the Nats have a good season it has nothing to do with dusty and its just because they have talent, once again proving you right

Not a bad spot to be in

Good, but not great season for a year or two until he wastes the arms. Next

Saw this everywhere but wasn't sure if it was trolling or April Fools.

Can we get odds on who is more senile.... Dusty or Mr. Pudding Pop?

Pinnacle has already listed odds as to whether Dusty will forget which day of the week it is during a media presser. But I'm not sure Dusty knows how many days are in the week, so Pinnacle might run into trouble grading that one fairly....

Nothing different than saying, "I bet you all that the Nats make the playoffs!!" Really going out on a limb there.....
