Exactly. Spot on. Very intense. Felt like I was right there in the middle of it.

Actually not very good.. yes it showed what happened that day but was done more like a documentary with the loud music all movie.. very little dialogue ... Not good and not better then private Ryan by any means

Agreed, too much drama and not much actual action.

JMO but no where near SPR, the only reason it was intense was because of the music by master Hans Zimmer, good movie I thought, the air battles were cool, and I liked the difference in time, but not even close to SPR

Also a tip of the cap to Hans Zimmer for musical score, more than compensates for there being less dialogue.

The movie just made it look like they were really desperate to flee France for England. That's all.

Believe me, I watched it the other night and it was terrible. You were better off watching the trailer instead of the movie. There are no more good movies out there. Not like there used to be.

That's pretty harsh. You do realize that movie tastes are subjective? I was bored to death by 'The Revenant,' but you think it
was a top 5 movie of all time. I don't lose respect for you as a human being, I just think your movie choice is comical.

They were in London - you can see some buildings still with bomb and bullet holes in them today - I think they had to flee Dunkirk - were sitting ducks - who knows? thank God that loonie toon went east to attack Russia and they had balls and thank God we got involved too because it didn't look like France, Poland or Belgium were gonna go down swinging
