Thinking back on yesterday's Duke-Xavier game. Duke may have easily lost if Anthony Myles did'nt foul out mid-way through the 2nd half with two fouls in 6 seconds (the second very questionable). Myles is the top rebounder. and inside scorer for the Musketeers, and was sorely missed. Unfortunately no one can forsee what influence the zebras will have this Saturday.

You actually think that Gordon is that much better than Duhon! Watch whos a better General this Saturday the answer is Duhon! Who did UCONN beat lately that has a Duke caliber of play?? Duke has the second best guy in the country and BEST pure jump shooter in JJ . Duhon might not outscore Gordon but he will out assist and rebound him and out defend him!
A pimple on Gordons ass! I watched Gordon when he played at Mt. Vernon he's OK but you make him out to be a superstar! Duhon can score and is a complete point guard! Gordon isn't there yet! A streak shooter he is and you'll see him have an off night Saturday night against a team like Duke! Like I said the post can score 20 thats OK I'm relying on JJ, Duhon and Ewing to bury there 3's which they are overdue to do! Duke by 7 or better!!
We'll see Saturday night! Can't wait till Duhon blows by Gordon every time and PUT GORDON in foul trouble! Gordons not quick enough to stay with Duhon! REMEMBER games are won on the foul line buddy! 60% to 74%, Duke makes more free throws than their opponents take! WELL, you do the math! GO DUKE!!
I would definitely like to see some other opinions about this game than the two-man pixxing match going on here. As with any Duke squad, I don't think you ever see one or two players being labeled as the top one or two players on the court. Okefor is a Monster. Gordon does seem to possibly be the best guard on the court from a one on one perspective. But I think Duke has the most talent overall, which is what can matter in a game like this. Williams, Duhon, Reddick, Ewing...they can ALL take over and get theirs. This game could be one for the ages. I hope all are reasonably healthy, and we can have some fun with this. I have Duke in my brackets which if they win will pay me several times over. So, will have to decide if I want to maximize the Duke fun, or hedge with UConn. Both teams have a lot to like.
