This season I've been fading, a perenial top 6-8 team in the EPL the last few years, that I knew would suck this year at very nice odds cause the public still percieves them as good.

I think one look at the EPL table will tell you how well im doing on that fade.

I agree Joey, the public will never give up on Newcastle and Liverpool(sadly), but out of curiorsity, which other teams do you consider perennial top 8? (besides United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool) Spurs?

I have a system in EPL which does really well and the reason behind the system is rather similar to yours.

I fade any teams with the exception of Man Yoo and Chelsea Away.

United have been winning ATS and if you've backed them every game this year you should be up by 6-7 units in the EPL, and Chelsea have the consistency to win away from home they are not a good fade.

If you bet against Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea home, you will be up by about 8 units.

In a long run i don't recommend fading these top 4 because you will not win much backing or fading them. That's why i fade the rest that the public favour on the day.

25-17 +7units

These are definitely something to explore, i am kind of doing that to American sports, i just need to bit more discipline at times and not force plays.

i wasn't serious about fading viborg, i don't know them well enough to fade them. But i happened to watched FCK vs Viborg when i was in dk, last summer, it was nice to see some familar faces. You have a beautiful country stabber!

Yes, your Charlton fade has been very profitable so far. I'm just saying that a "season-long" fade is not a wise way to bet. It tends to cloud your judgement... You may very well end up opposing Charlton a lot of times, but each game should be treated seperately imo.

I tend to take a lot of coin flips on the road with the + .5 around even money.

I avoid betting against Charlton at home Vs weaker teams like Watford, Sheff Utd and will continue to do so as I am aware they must win at some stage.

Stabber, my friends study in Kobenhavn so that's where we spent most of our days, however we did spend a few days driving around Sjaelland, it was wonderful experience. Next time Stabber, i'll come over to Jutland and we'll go for a pint! :drink:
