This is a huge over reaction right now.

Maybe a little.

But the bottom line is the info the employee used for himself was an advantage, even if it wasn't a huge one.

Regulation must happen now.

If any of us owned & operated the same software, we could edit and/or enter whatever we wanted at anytime we wanted, and it would take an extreme amount of luck for anyone to find out.

I never trusted the sites 100% even before all of this for the reasons i just stated above.

At least with sportsbetting you know you have a side, total, or prop and nobody can pull anything sneaky or shady on you...

DraftKings has stated that he did not have access to these ownership %'s prior to 1pm.

With no outside regulator this statement is nothing but hot air, did you really expect to come out and say he had access and ruin their reputation and destroy their business.

I get that there is no way to prove he did not have access prior to the 1pm lock, but how is it then fair to him and the sites to write as fact that he acted with insider information to win the $350,000? Everyone is just assuming he had access.

So he knew Andy Dalton was owned by 3.2 % of the players . I'm sorry, but does that mean Dalton is gonna go off ?

I agree, no one should know anything, and I am of the thought that all lineups should lock at the start of the first game of a contest, but I don't see how knowing a % is gonna help me win.
