Just a personal opinion....

I strongly believe that if Manziel were to go to Dallas the following would happen:

Manziel would be guaranteed to "warm the wood", as he won't be capable to beat out Romo for a job. (unless they know something about Romo that they are not telling?)

If Manziel is faced with a circumstance where he is no longer the center of attention...... All hell will break loose! This circumstance would basically set the stage for Manziel to show his butt for sure. He won't be able to adjust to not being "the man"!

Recipe for disaster! If Cowboys are even considering him..... something must be up with Romo. The Cowboys are not stupid.

Way too much emphasis put on the first round of the draft. Superbowls are won on Day 2 and Day 3 of the draft. Dont forget that the best CB in the game was a 5th round pick.

I really don't have a ton of opinions on the draft cause I don't watch much college football but I do think its nuts Clowney isn't unanimous #1. He is the best/most dominant defensive prospect I can remember. Houston should draft him and put him with Watt and call it a day.

Who cares if he has questionable work ethic. It's your job as coach/organization to harness his talent/potential. You just can't pass on a freak like that even if there is a 20% chance he is gonna bust because of other concerns.

If they go with Clowney what do you think they are going to do at QB? Stick with Keenum? I'd like to see Mallette or Cousins get a chance to start but not sure where they are at in their contracts.

I am no evaluator of talent but what I have bewn hearing is clowney is only slightly more gifted talent wise than mack....so do you pick guy with the most talent or go with #2 guy if talent isnt that much behind but without the questionable work ethic.

But they also need a QB. I'd say they should trade the pick and grab one of these good QB's that can set them up for the future.

You may get your wish with Mallet.

CSN New England's Tom Curran reports the Texans are on the verge of acquiring Patriots QB Ryan Mallett.

Mallett deserves a chance, dude can sling a pill. Plus all he learned behind Belichek and Brady. Problem is Houston wants immediate results and Mallett is so raw from not playing in years. I still would take the chance.

jesus fuck….limas sweede haha. think we gotta go corner over safety.

ya i agree corner before safety now that i think ab it they did get that guy from carolina and hopefully shmarko thomas improves. And they did sign hew yard-bey and lance moore and are expecting wheaton to play more this year so maybe it will be a CB or TE 1st who knows

the thing about the steelers is that they tend to take the best player available in the first round, regardless of need. we desperately need a corner, though. i think they could even get a great corner in the 2nd if they decide to take someone like ebron first round.

Kalil is nearly fro my hometown. His hs was about 5 min from where I went to school. There are questions about both guys. I feel that concerns regarding Clowney's work ethic are legitimate. Either you have it or you don't. It isn't something that you just develop. Same thing with Manziel. It's great to say that you will have professionalism when it matters but if you haven't shown it at this point it isn't something that you will instantly have. As for Mack I am curious about the suspension. Players get in fight at practice all the time. That's not out of the norm, but for a guy to get suspended for it. Either the coaches are crazy or there is something there that we don't know.
