Down $2300, Plan to win it back, need a money management plan

You should be betting less then 1% per play of your total GAMBLING bankroll to give yourself a fair shot. So if you have 10k then $100 a play is the most you should play.

After 2,000 plays you should start to have some idea if you are playing with an edge or not.

How's this look guys:

$1000 bankroll

2% is $20 a game

5 plays, or $100, risked a week in college football (12 weeks in the season, so $1200 risked overall)
5 plays, or $100, risked a week in NFL (16 weeks in the season, so $1600 risked overall)
Therefore, $200 risked every weekend

College football bets may only be made on Saturday games
NFL bets may only be made on Sunday games

Would appreciate any suggestions

Iceman is right. Betting $500 a game is fine if you are playing with a $50,000 roll.

Update: I went from being down $2300 to down $4500 to UP $1800. Once I got up $1800, I cleared out my account. I'm done for the year. Gotta love college football (<)<

I kind of abandoned the money management system and made some big hits on 2nd half college football and NFL plays. Oh well, I'm a lucky SOB

Forgot to add this before: An 8-1 run is the reason I got out of the hole. See below. There was also a Miami 2nd half wager but I didn't submit it in time before kickoff.

Nice 8-1 run and I'm glad that you took your +$1,800 out of your account. As you can guess, we could say, "Well, that could have been 1-8" and down several thousand dollars".

Thanks for posting your recent plays during the 8-1 run, but honestly, risking $2,040 to win $1,700 on a college football 2nd half side? Even for a $100 bettor, that's risking 20.4 units to win 17 units on a CFB 2H game.

I went there the same path a few years ago (starting at $5K and built it to $17K then lost it all), and I lucked out that I quickly learned a money management system before I started again. Ever since, I have not looked back and get worried because I know I'm within my bankroll.
