reputations are easy to destroy, often times with with half truths and / or the omission of mitigating facts

is there anyone in this forum that has NOTHING in their lives they don't want to be public? I'm going to suggest we can all be embarrassed by something, we're all human

I'm also from the school of letting celebrities live their lives with some privacy and dignity, just like we all want

and I think the paparazzi are pure scum with their tactics and their behavior, I'm not sure why anyone would condone their behavior

Yeah, me posting on a forum is not the same as a celebrity. When they sign up to perform in public via acting, singing etc., they become a public figure and publicity comes hand-in-hand with that sort of profession. As a celebrity, you give up the right to privacy. Not to say I agree, it's just the way it is.
