They still call this stuff reality TV?

I am hard pressed to think of ANY show more fake than this one and American Casino on Fridays.

This includes the Simpsons. (Not Jessica. Homer and Marge!)

P.S. Don't anybody get their panties in a bunch about the Nugget guys hosting the Rx Hoedown. They are not doing anything for 'FREE"! They plan to make plenty of money off the group! That time slot right before school starts when it is 546 degrees in the shade.... not really what you would call primetime!

Wanted to bump this as it pertains to the discussion of golf.

You can get some low green fees, and rightfully so in August. You will be pretty much miserable after about 9 AM.

Drink plenty of water throughout the round or you will be TOAST.

This has to be one of the funniest comments i have ever read!

"At the Golden Nugget, the "eye in the sky" doesn't exist to catch card cheats, but for cleavage close-ups. Its entertainment philosophy appears to have been torn straight from the pages of "Porky's II." "

Mr Smith from Vegas is balls on accurate.

They should jerk the gaming license out from under these two clowns just for the show.

What a disrespectful representation of the gaming business.

Of course gaming is a low down racket for beating people out of their last cent, but that was supposed to kept secret from the public! Was it not?

Far as I know they only paid out to 90 places in the WSOP final event.

Contrary to popular believe, that game isn't the whole series, it is just the final event. There are 20 events overall, actually ESPN has been showing some of them this year, basically feeding off the poker hysteria.

With almost 2600 people starting the tournament this year they paid the top 225. Next year they will even go further then that.

Yeah, brain cramp. I knew they had paid out 90 last year with the 860 or so players. That was the most they had paid up to that point. With 2600 then 250 would be about right. They probably took more for the dealers and paid 225 places.

Still have a hard time thinking that many people are playing now. I remember when they got 500 and that was a major coup, and that was only a few years ago.
