He'd be making $6M x 6 instead of $3-4M x 7. Here's an interesting quote from when he turned down the UK job:

"You can't buy happiness, and the school [Florida] has always taken care of me."

So what? Put yourself in his shoes. Who wouldn't take more money somewhere else. What was he supposed to say. " I turned down the job because it wasn't enough money?"

NBA assistants that have worked under sucessful coaches are the best suited for head coaches - I'm trying to think of one college coach that is successful in the NBA.
