I think Hunter is upset because of the form you copied and pasted, if anyone has "password saving" enabled in their web browser, it'll plug their username and password into the login fields of that form, making them think you are hacking their matrix or something.

i tried them a few years back and when i asked for tehina sauce for my schwarma, the girls puzzled look did it for me.... they had a bottle of tehini paste in the fridge, i swear she gives it to me with a spoon, i actually spent 5 min making the actual tehina sauce from their paste to enjoy my shwarma which sucked

i used to go to beirut to fix my shwarma cravings, now its sabor de jerusalem only..... best middle eastern in town.... best eaten fresh out of the oven

Well, where to begin.
I usually don't reply to these things, as I have watched this forum over the years and it ends up with bashing and goes off point, but here goes nothing.

No I dont "spam my trash" , I posted a menu, and left it at that, not really the definition of spam. If I posted several times daily, that might be called spam.

To the person who wanted Tahini Sauce, since we don't offer tahini sauce, I can imagine the staff didnt understand, sort of like asking for gravy at McDonalds here in Costa Rica. Just a thought.

Greek Fries and Greek Potatos are 2 different items, but similar, so i can see how you can mix them up. Greek Potatos are oven roasted potatos, cut in quarters, roasted with lemon and oregeno etc, varies from place to place, but thats the basics. Greef Fries are just Fries with lemon/oregeno, or in our case, lemon/pepper seasoning

Not sure about the "20 note" remark. We are in Costa Rica, the currency is colones, but we do accept US money, 20$ and under, unless it's fake, get a few of those now and then.

I can't imagine there was an hour wait time. I won't argue the point, and except there was a wait time, to which i can only say "our bad" and sorry.

No we do not use chicken breast for the shawarma, nobody in the world does. Does not roast well on the Doner Grills, dries out and gets a bit tough, we sell lots of the shawarma, after the doner kebab, its our biggest seller. As the menu states, it has cabbage in the sandwich, you could have just ordered it without.

Yes, Our delivery is an issue, we only deliver within a 5km radius, so Santa Ana is outside this area, we have gone out to Santa Ana or other locations outside the 5km mark, but this causes problems, so we will no longer deliver to areas outside the range. Currently looking for an express company, so as not to be at the mercy of just one driver.

Just so we are clear, it is not a greek restaurant, and never said we were, nor turkish and Definitely not leb. If anything we are more of a German / Canadian Kebab take away type place.

As one poster said, when he wants food he misses from back home, he makes it himself. That is what I did, I am a Canadian, wanted a Donair one late night after a few beers, could not get the kind I wanted here in CR, so opened my own place, so now I can have one when I want one.

I agree with the reviewer on the Poutine, I am always trying to figure out how to package the Poutine, I will continue until I am happy.

The other items reviewed, I wont go into, we sell lots and lots of falafel, very popular with our regulars, same with the chicken gyros etc. So I will accept you review, and try to ensure the staff follows the recipes correctly and do not change or adjust them.

We don't have a manager. Just me, the owner. I don't think I have an attitude problem, but may be mistaken. I have been wrong before and am sure i will wrong at least one or two time more in the future.

No, can't compete with Poutine from Montreal.

Anyway, so here is the reply. Just a busy guy, so I don't stop by here all that often. A regular customer had mentioned it to me tonight, so i took a look.

A final note. I am not here to dispute the review. critism, done in a constructive manner is not a bad thing and can be helpful

My advice to you is to start drinking heavily.

My question is very simple, why does your product change everyday. I have never (ordered at least 30 times from you) once had the same thing made the same way. In fact, I no longer eat there because of it. The 1st time I ordered I was very happy, but I have never gotten it again....what gives?

Secondly, your statement on Shawarma is 100% wrong, I know of many places that in fact do use chicken breast and its excellent. Your product does not compete against them, not even close. If you ever travel back to the states PM me and I'll give you some of the best places on the planet that offer it that way.

I think your close to offering an excellent product that will get me ordering again everyday. You need more consistency. I understand you Canadian, and that might deter you from being successful, but I still have hope for you. :103631605

Restaurants are tricky in Costa Rica. Even the most brilliant menu can be butchered by incompetent kitchen staff. Which is pretty much the way they come here in CR.

I'd eat at the white house back in the day Jeff was the chef there. I'd love to order the anti-pasta. But when he wasn't there babysitting, it would come out with cantelope and other odd items that had nothing to do with the dish.

Sadly, it's the nature of things here. You have to babysit your shop 24/7.

Tried the donair the other day, took one bite and threw it out and went to Subway. Possibly the worst food in Costa Rica (which says alot).

I have tried maybe 100 donairs in my life time, and this is by far the worst. Nothing even close to as bad.

Figures that this place is next to GOOOOOOOL, probably the same owner.

Had a falafel the other day it wasn't bad. But the chicken gyro was nasty. For some reason they think it is ok to use the gristle from the chicken. They used to use chicken breast but for some reason now its just the fat and rubbery pieces of chicken.

I heard Doner is under new ownership. Is that correct?

Yeah about 2 months ago the lady that owns the beauty salon next door bought it from the Canadian guy who started it.

When he first started that it was a good deal with good food but he let it go downhill at the end and now that this lady has taken over she has just kept the same low standards, too bad.
