I got goosebumps tonight for the first time in ahwile tonight, 7 seconds left in the game,LMU up 68-67 I look to my left a big sign saying Hank's House, I look to my right 2 seats away is Bo Kimble, LMU shooting a 1 and 1, they miss the free throw, a Cal Poly guard gets the rebound and tries to go coast to coast, gets swatted, another CalPoly player gets the rebound and gets swatted and then the buzzer goes off and I give Bo Kimble a high 5 as I hit my middle.

Yes the LMU campus has to be in the top 10 in the country for setting. I enjoyed my time there.
Bo's height was exaggerated, as are many players, but I don't think the Clips really had in mind him playing a lot of forward, he was thought of more as a shooting guard. Of course, the Clips rarely did put a lot of thought into their picks then.
Do they still have Hank's bench out front of Gersten? I cry ever time I see it, I remember sitting out there doing my schoolwork (the rare times I did schoolwork there, lol).
In 88-90, THE two places to see college hoops were at Gersten and the Thomas and Mack.
Can you imagine LMU averaged 144 pts a conference game there at home that year? Wow.
