Which team already understands they're going nowhere and need more top talent in the draft?

Jets
Lions
Few others in this as well

Eagles could have 3 top 10 picks, although I think Indy rebounds and makes a run at that division.

That's right!

Has to suck being a Fins fan right now

nah. A little disappointing but doesn’t suck. They do have the niners number 1 pick this year.

they also play this season :

jags
falcons
giants
texans
jets 2x

hopefully those are 6 wins right there and then let’s see what happens.

Flores has always started slow and ended up strong.

I didn’t have high expectations this season (was hoping for playoffs and even a playoff win) but they are worlds away from Buffalo and KC

They would be better off sucking (besides having to give another team a top 5-10 pick) and dealing for Watson/Wilson/Rodgers etc than rallying to a respectable season and sticking with Tua.

They did that already though. Didn't look this up but I think Miami has the most draft capital in the league over the next few years and will have the most cap space in this off-season. Would rather Tua pane out but if not they have the equity to get a big name next off-season or potentially move up in the 2023 draft to try again.

I wasn't saying they should tank, I was saying they would be better off not being fooled by a decent finish.

I still want to see if Tua could play before we shut the door on him.

he needs to show us something these next 3 out of 4 games and we have 3 easy wins (jags/falcons/Texans). We will lose to the bills

i like having a QB on a rookie contract as they could spend $$$ elsewhere.

if I think they were super bowl ready but QB holding them up, I go for Aaron Rodgers.

their draft capita has been pretty awesome but it seems (so far) that they have had more misses than hits which is disheartening

In 2020 they had 3 first round picks.

tua (always injured)
a left tackle from USC (just moved him to guard)
cb from auburn (inactive every game)

Tua is such a big question mark. Watson/Rodgers huge upgrade but Id l8ke to give him a real shot. He wins his games. He is 1-0 this year in games he played more than a qtr.

And this team doesn't look anywhere near ready to compete in other areas. O-line can't protect either QB and the defense reminds me of a whiffle ball the amount of holes I see

Jacksonville Jaguars +3.5 (The NFL is serving up another London dud as the winless Jaguars take on the 1-4 Dolphins, whose only victory was a 17-16 opening-week escape at the New England Patriots.[/COLOR]
Moreover, each side’s offense and defense rank as a bottom-five NFL unit in terms of scoring and points allowed per game.
Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is hoping to play after a three-week IR stint with a rib injury, and that should provide a boost for a Miami offense which ranks 30th in passing (191.4 yards per game). But with rookie QB Trevor Lawrence getting his NFL legs under him and the Jags owning a significant advantage in the run game with stud second-year RB James Robinson(fourth in the league with 387 yards while averaging 5.8 yards per attempt), there’s no reason why Miami should be favored by anything more than a point or two.

Whatever you do - do not watch any of the Chargers game today - you will be miserable watching Tua next week

tell me about it!!

You live down here. Our stupid fan base would have been PISSED had he drafted Herbert.

funny, on draft day my wife received a text from a wife of a pretty reliable source. She was told that the fins were trading up to 3 to draft Herbert. I even had a weird look on my face when she told me.

given that information, I made some NFL draft wagers. That “inside info” cost me a few hundred dollars.

I haven’t seen them since that time but we’re actually getting together in a few weeks. I should make them pay for dinner and I’ll ring up the bill haha

The funny part is that those teams on that list are looking at the Dolphins as a win on their schedule!
