I can't argue with any of the 10 listed, and there's probably another 5 that I couldn't argue with either that aren't on this list, led by Warren Moon. Brees isn't there yet, IMO, but 2 more seasons of what he's doing now will get him there.

I'm assuming Chop is just playing up his Homerism with respect to Brees being the best ever. Otherwise I'm going to have to start dissing him

Farve was a turnover machine too, maybe the most inconsistent "great QB" of all time

6 of those top 10 came from a time when there was no Dr Andrews to rebuild them like the 6 million dollar man , thats why you cant compare players from different eras. ...having said that , i would put brees in the top 10 but not #1.

...the ironic thing is that it was the brees surgery that nearly killed doc andrews.

I would take Elway at number 1. If all these QBs played at the same time every team would have traded their QB even up for Elway. Arm, legs, and a winner.

You would take John Elway over Joe Montana? ? ?

Favre #1 all-time passing yards AND Touchdowns.

How on Earth do you leave him out of top 10 guys???

As i said earlier, Hall Of Famers Warren Sapp & Derrick Brooks always speak of how great Favre is/was.

Brees ALREADY 4th and 5th on the list.
Not to mention he's succeeded with the Chargers and the Saints.
How many QB's do we see dominant on one team, then move to another and fail.

Please don't say these stats aren't relevant to who belongs where, because even thought there are exceptions in which stats don't matter, for the most part they tell the tale here...

Anybody who does not think Drew Brees is one of the 10 best QB of all time simply does not understand.

When he retires he will have more yards passing, more TDs, more 5000 yard passing seasons then all other players in NFL history combined.

Think about that last one for a second.

Drew Brees has had more 5000 yard passing seasons then every other player in the history of the NFL combined.

In this pass-happy era, with zero rules or emphasis favoring a defensive player, on a team that throws the ball virtually every down, playing in a dome.. Makes Drew Brees stats or records the nfl equivalent of Timmy Chang or Dave klingler in college.

Trivia question.

Q>How many Pro Bowl WR's has Drew Brees thrown to in his career?

Oh I'm sorry.
I was under the assumption that the other 31 QB's played under the same rules.
My bad.

The year Drew Brees broke Dan Marino's record for the 1st time.
The Saints were 6th in the NFL in rushing.

They all do.. League has set offensive records 4 years running now. I'd say virtually all passing stats have to be taken with a grain of salt. Look at Matthew stafford stats, and he blows. Look at manning last year, people barely blinked at those numbers he put up at that age. Now more than ever the 'eye test'should count the most with these qbs.

Otto Graham??? Haha.

There are many high school quarterbacks today better than he was. Geeze, he was playing against roofers.

I expect that from justin lose. But not from you. Favre had 3 mvp awards in a row.....that shoots down the inconsistent talk

Marino shouldn't be on that list. Not saying he wasn't good , but he wasn't the superstar everyone thinks he was.. In the clutch , he was terrible.. blamed everyone else too.. Elway was the greatest QB I've ever seen. did more with less. Brady has moved up on my list.. Brady has benefited from the greatest coach of all time IMO.
