Buck, makes no difference, only curious, you sound like you may know more about this issue than some other posts I have read. I have mentioned this in another thread last month, why have'nt any of the actual Danish bettors posted here with their grievances? I can only add that I hope to see the issue resolved soon.

This is probably the most stupid post of the day.

I didn't lose any money at Aces Gold so does that mean I shouldn't be outraged at what he did, and just say "la tee da Charlie's a good guy because he didn't steal from me"???

The guy is the best offshore writer I have ever read, and if you wish to dispute any facts you are welcome to do so. I don't see how a poster at a dieing stiff site can comment negatively on the traffic of a newer growing site...

Don't insult B2G, Cecil takes it personal. Even if it has to do with recruiting poster through another sites PM functionality

I have no idea who is owed and who is not. What I can say, as in pay issue I have dealt with, and I have dealt with a few, there is always hope when their is communication between both parties. I was given a posted list with players feeling owed over $8000 in this issue and that list was forwarded to the appropriate people who have since stated that they are willing & working to resolve this issue. The door of communication is open. Please have any person that feels a victim here email me. (GeneralPete@Hotmail.com). Please include casino, account number & name.

Going in, there is no way everyone will feel treated fairly no matter the outcome. Is there a time when we are all happy?

Damn this site is going to shit! I finally understand the whole situation from that great article on the other site.

Here is an idea! We dont need an announcement, all we need is for you to pay the players! I cant believe that we all post at a site where this scammer STOLE money from his clients! I am sure that he also owns a few sportsbooks and they will do the same thing at hte sportsbooks.

No more annoucements are needed, just pay the players

By the way, dont even worry about finding out which complaints are legit since it doesnt matter if a few guys do scam. Marty has scammed about $200,000 for the last 2 years, he deserves to get scammed a little bit himself.

By the way, I just moved to Denmark yesterday, can I get some scammer cash as well?

are amusing. He has 9 people viewing his thread? SO what? Bet2gamble isn't a powerful site but facts are facts. I know plenty of websites with powerful information that probably have less than 5 people reading them at any one time. That does not negate their legitimacy.

Asking why danish casino players who were ripped off are not posting on a sportsbook forum is like asking why fantasy football players aren't posting on a japanese pokemon website.

Why hasn't anyone commented on the link between canadian casino manager and former underling to marty jensen - george finley and marty jensen. There has to be some. I'm sure Ken could ask marty how well they know each other.

Areef - you missed my point. I mean that this subject is old news, in fact very old. To act like this is a breaking story is just wrong. I believe the B2G site is looking to gain attention, which is fine, but come up something that has'nt been all over these boards everyday for over a month. As far as the unpaid victims posting here, I have to believe at least a couple of them are aware that their claims are being discussed on several different sports gambling web-sites. Belive me, I hope they get paid as much as you do, but just object to others using their plight, to shed light on themselves. We could argue this all night I suppose, but I am really tired of the matter. So think what you want, I repeat I hope the Danes are paid what they truly have coming, if that is not enough, then I am sorry.

I agree that the new owner probably lied, cheated, and stole in the situations described in the article, but I still think the Rx will continue to be a great place despite that.

There are certain financial dilemmas that will never get resolved in favor of 100% honesty since it goes with the territory when a site like this depends on advertising revenue to thrive. It's just your classic conflict of interest situation when you have to put your own survival ahead of being nice to the other guy. The same thing happens when mods suck up to the advertisers. Some do it subtly, others pathetically obviously but they simply have to do it. That's not being 100% honest either but we put up with it because it's the least of all the various possible evils. Imagine if we all had to pay a monthly fee to post here!? It sure wouldn't being a happenin' place under that scenario.

I say as long as the maffiosos let the honest guys do the operational stuff then I think we have the best of all worlds. They get the money and the chicks without doing much (but we know they will burn in hell forever after they die

) and we get a great website and get to exchange information so we can have money and chicks but with a clear conscience

Fair enough Willheim - all jokes + ditties aside you are bored of this already.

Casinoside this has been an issue for 2 years give or take.

Response is low casinoside but some don't forget - enough so to be repetitiously boring even - small in number they may well be.

Indeed a compliment.

Just think about it wil. It is around 2 years ago that Marty took the title as the biggest stiff ever in the online casino industry. Many of these Danish players probably don't even gamble online anymore. Many of them know nothing about this possible resolution thing (although I am sure that Marty won't pay them).

If this case is to be closed, all account details (email addresses, phone numbers, amounts stolen by Marty and so on) should be forwarded to an independent third party that can contact all players on behalf of the casino.

Marty knows exactly how much he has stolen and from whom.

Wil,

Prior to reading Parlaythis' article, all I knew was what I read in the forums. Mainly that Marty ripped off the whole country of Denmark. Didn't really understand what happened, why was it only Denmark, and how does he treat all of the other players. Now I feel I have a much better understanding of what occured. If he ran a sportsbook, his book would would be in the same cateory as all the other stiff books we have seen come and go.

What si clear is that Marty stiffed a lot of people, and he continues to slow pay his current customers. I would not wan such a person deciding who gets to advertise here. Every time a new book advertises here, is this book legit, or is it a freind of MArty's, or just someone who paid Marty enough money.

Wil, maybe you've been fortunate to never have been stiffed before. But for those of us who have, topics like these are very sensitive. ANd seeing the emails that Parlathis put in his article brings back a lot of the anger that some of us felt when we got similar emails. Thats why you shouldn't expect this topic to die off any time soon.

wilheim,

I admire your posts, but you are mistaken about our site.

First of all, it's true that our forums are not very active. That's ok with us because they are just an extension of our directory, which is where we receive the overwhelming majority of our traffic, 30% of which comes from the search engines daily. Sites like ours and BetBrain, another site with a forum that belies its true size, leave the forums to those sites that have the most experience with them like this one.

As for being washed up, we haven't even been online long enough (launched in March of 2002) to be washed up. We have won three Gambling Online Magazine awards and honorable mentions, all voted on by players (ironically one for Top Message Board), and two Editor's Picks in less then two years of being online. Not bad for a washed up site, lol.

As for the article, I'm sorry you didn't like it or its timing, both of which we thought were very relevant.
