Congress is not responsible - we are in the same exact position as the rest of the world - Congress is exempt from blame for hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and spur of the moment viruses - it's called an act of God - mother nature

I guess we should just shut down committees.. No reason to do oversight then. If a upcoming epidemic is heading your way , the answer is its an act of God , our body is excused from suggesting or taking any action ? I don't agree

These type of threads are basically a waste of time. Peoples minds are already made up. You wont change them no matter what kind of evidence you present.

In fact I will go so far as to say......when was the last time someone on this forum changed their opinion on anything?

hindsight is always 20/20 but when smart people talk, others should listen.

When Bill Gates tells DC that Microsoft needs all them H1B's, you know they listen.

No answer to the question ?

So to answer the question...no. Most people can multitask. So the house and senate could have addressed the issue. It would not have helped unless the administration acted. The administration has the ability to act much faster and with more authority than the house or senate.

Did it change your mind....I will guess no. Answer?

no it didn't .. I think any kind of oversight helps with any kind of pressing issue in our country....good and useful things can come out of the house , if you want to help the country.... . Oversight in the past has always been important with all kinds of problems. Last 3 years , just investigations and finding an impeachment tool to use .. I'm assuming you think Congress has done their jobs the last 3 years.

Yourself and enflameo said..."it's just the flu"..."will blow over soon"..."no big deal"...

Now you are looking to blame someone instead of finding a solution and help others...

We told you a week ago to prepare...but...you said "no big deal it's just the flu"...

Idiot..
