The Navy is near by keeping an eye on it. Not much else they can do. Except maybe send in a tactical unit of some kind, but that's still risky.

Obama is an apologist, he always takes the weak position to make the other party feel good... He is totally against the military and he will weaken it on his watch...

All I know is if he signs a document giving the terrorists free passage in exchange for our citizen, it will give every other group aligned against us the confidence that they can do whatever they want and we will sit and do nothing but go to the U.N. and ask for sanctions...

When this is over we had better go in to Somalia and root out these guys and their friends and eliminate them... We need to send a strong message that we will not take this crap...

He does not care about our citizen being held. He has not came out with any statement at all, none... He had a press conference on mortgages and houses, he was asked about this situation and told the media he did not come here to talk about that, he was here to talk about mortgages...

I am sorry but a U.S. citizen being held hostage is more important than his fucking press conference on mortgages...

He does not have to give a blow by blow on what is going on but to say nothing is bullshit... He is the fucking president, it is his job to protect his citizens, read the fucking oath of office...

I am near certain that these Somalian pirates are Muslims and BO has a soft spot in his heart for his brethren so any brazen hostilities to demolish the pirates probably are not an option.

I dont see that happening. At least I sure as hell hope it doesnt. I feel for the guy and all but we can't start negotiating with these people. That would be a horrible move on many levels. When you are a ship captian sailing anywhere you are responsible for the safety of all souls on board. These people arent new theyve been out there for a long time and they arent going anywhere. We start negotiating with them and we are looking at a real problem. The real long term solution is to clean up these lawless countrys like somalia and kenya that are havens for pirates.
