Touche my friend (<)< However, a message board is more of a place for opinions/discussion on certain subjects (usually of some interest to its users). I may very well be interested in what you have to say on a particular subject, but i just don't want to know if you are going to buy some milk at this moment or 5 mins later are taking a deuce.

Good point, some people go way to far with those updates.

These days you when you hire kids it is hard to get eight hours out of them as they
use half the day texting.

Of course the same could be said about half this board AND POSTING ......lol

Facebook has recently tried very hard to copy twitter's "what are you doing?" format in their new update. The simplicity of Twitter has more appeal to people, facebook added too much clutter, too fast and is losing appeal.

There Must be Someone Here that Twitters ?

They say it's the Fastest Growing Thing on the Internet....I still Don't see what's the Big Deal.

@)

I see a lot of you guys responding and I know you just don't understand how to use this thing and get the most out of it. All these replys before me and one or 2 of you truly seem to get it.

You don't use it to let some friend know what your doing every time you change your underwear. That's gay.

What you CAN use it for is to gather information better than any source online that I've seen to date. Covers.com just added me today. Pretty soon your going to get all your line updates via Twitter and for free! It's just a matter of time.

Took me a few weeks to truly figure out how to maximize this thing to my advantage. I use it mostly for hockey info. Who's injured, who's starting in goal. If someone gets hurt in the warmup...someone in the arena is going to Twitter it to the masses and that's good info.

I've just started using it for fantasy baseball and it's really good.

There's only a very small portion of the sports world that are using it right now but believe me...one day before very long it's going to be extreamly popular.

I first learned by clicking on this link. Once you click a few links in that article it won't seem as foreign as it once might have.

The key thing I have found is to "follow" as many sports related people as you can so that when ever THEY Twitter it will show up on YOUR home page. That way all you need to do is click on your OWN home page and refresh every so often and the new information will multiply.

Sports related sites I follow are Rotowire, Yahoo, Covers now, Espn, and because I mostly handicap hockey....most of the hockey blogs on the net. Lots of great info there. What I find works is clicking on someone of interest such as Covers or espn or one of the bigger bloggers and then see who is following "THEM" by clicking on "that" link on their home page. then scrolling thru their list and looking for someone in "their" list that looks interesting to follow yourself. The good information doesn't come from the Covers and Espn's out there. It's from the bloggers and people you follow that are sorta behind the scenes. Just takes a while to find those people like that to follow. But when you do...their gold.

I think it would be great if the RX joined Twitter just for the Offshore alone. It would bring mega traffic to the site before long.

WTF man.
I logon on to my twitter account, I want to update it, I keep getting a grey box telling me to enter my user name and psw to access the twitter server.
I input the information, and each and every time it crashes my IE.

Not sure why that's happening. My wifes Twitter account is fine.
Site a little slow though.
