"I did at the time - like most did."

Most??? The mayority of the global community sure didn't and as I remember he barely got the support of more than half of the American public.

Sting's forum just got hacked.

Pretty brutal animation of a man and a little boy getting shot.

It's easy to play monday morning QB

Clintoon, the UN, Kerry, saddam and the French are all on record saying saddam had the WMDs. Chances are saddam has/had them, if saddam did desroy the WMDs and he bluffed all the way to his hole then he got what he deserved.

The real question is where are they now.

The real question is when are we getting out of this situation, one we should never have gotten into in the first place.

When are we getting out of Germany?

When are we getting out of Bosnia?

When are we getting out of South Korea?

I say we leave Iraq after complete military victory. It's going to take several years if not 10 years, in the end it will be worth it.

Is that a moonbat in my sites?

Like it or not, the US is the only super power and a target for all of the nuts and animals in the world.

Even John Effin Kerry wouldn't pull out of Iraq - we'd leave a power vacuum and the back door to our weakness (energy) wide open.

The US needs a base in the middle east and Iraq is it.

Remember, after defeating the Germans and Japanese in WWII, and then saving the South Koreans, it took about 30 years before they became major economic and social powers in their own right. That thought, that Iraq could become a democracy and major economic and social power must scare the hell out of all of the little regimes surrounding Iraq.

outandup,
As the election grows closer thank goodness there are fewer and fewer people thinking like you and more and more planning to vote on anyone but bush2.

You say it doesn't matter if it takes 10 years??? What's wrong with you? You want a modern day Vietnam? You want our nation divided over a war again? Who's gonna go any way? The G.I.'s want out that's why the government is extending tours indefinately. How many American lives is this absurd conflict worth? You think it's so important why don't you go die there? I sure as hell wouldn't because this conflict has nothing to do with protecting the U.S.

The problem is that this isn't a situation of providing assitance economic and other to rebuild. We're trying to police their country and they're still fighting us. The violence has escalated since the war was supposedly declared over.

Another thing we're not mentioning is the debt we're running up with this fiasco.

Good job Wilheim editing my post ......no cussing, no personal attacks, just saying the US should wipe out alot of the "bad guys" and put them in the soccer fields ....I even went so far to say ....not the innocent people....just the "bad guys" ......you are doing such a great job. See ya (waiting for your next copy and paste job of a misleading headline)

Kaya,
The US is still in Germany, Japan, S. Korea and Bosnia. I would say because they all like our US $$$$$$$$ flowing in. After the opposition is crushed we should not stay one day after that unless they like us there like the above. No one knows how long it will take for iraq to stand on it's own. How long did it take Germany or Japan?

I supported it wholeheartedly and I still think things are going just fine - you people had way too high of expectations. however I do think we need to take the gloves off and stop trying to appease the shites - they respect only force and regard any attempts to "work together" as a sign of weakness.
