Not sure if this thread is serious or not...Sound a bit outlandish to me, but this is the Internet, so, nothing surprises me...
But I will chime in that I did join a group last year and we met daily on the Internet in a Yahoo chat room around 4:30ish on weekdays to go over the entire sports card and around noon on weekends to do the same...We all had microphones so it was like having a conference call every day...Without the phone bills, because even though we were spread all over the country, it's free to meet in a Yahoo chat room and go over the entire board...
10 people...3 from Canada, a New Yorker, 2 from PA, others spread about the country...Lasted about 6 months, but slowly disbanded because of egos, of course...
It was an interesting experience...And we had a Yahoo forum for notes...Just the "ego" thing that ruined it...
If you can get a group of people that are ALL on the same page, focused on how the TEAM can make money, instead of bragging about how much everyone allegedly is making on their own, it would work, IMO...
We just didn't have enough team-oriented people, so it was destined to fail...
Would I do it again??...Only with team-oriented people...And they are VERY hard to find in this "business" because everybody thinks they are "the bomb" when it comes to handicapping and that their "**** is the best"...
Yeah, whatever...That's why Offshore Sportsbooks and Vegas rake in billions off most of the "experts" in these forums...
