You don't fool anyone here.

No its a post where he made a prediction that the cubs will lose.

Chop how can you say their pitching edge was nullified in the postseason? Their top 3 starters were Maddux/Glavine/Smoltz who are all going to the HOF.

The reason they didn't do better in the postseason is because they simply didn't get the job done, not because their team was built more for regular season success. They just didn't win games that they were supposed to win.

Took 2 from the Yanks at Yankee Stadium , then 4 run lead at home in 9th of game 3 and Wrohlers goes Wrohlers. Gives up a grand slam to Leyritz and lose in extra innings and 4 straight. I was in shock at Fulton Co Stadium for each loss. Brutal

No question the Braves always had the superior 1 to 3. But the braves 1 to 3 in a 7 game series was not as drastic as the advantage they had 1 to 5 in a 162 game season. And when you reduce that advantage even though the 1 to 3 was still better then the other teams 1 to 3 it still overall shrunk their overall starting pitching advantage that they enjoyed 1 to 5 vs the other teams in a 162 game season.

But in the hitting department the braves disadvantage was the same.

So most of the time the BRAVES were not able to make up for this because the other teams had a good enough 1 to 3 to at least keep the games close enough to where eventually the other teams bats which were most of the time superior to the Braves could make up the difference.

Well LA was forced to finally rest Kershaw, and in the last 2 nights you saw the big difference between these two teams, which is depth in the starting rotation.

LA basically had to throw us this game and put themselves on the brink.

Game 7 is going to be great to watch, if it gets there. How will the Cubs respond with the weight of the world on their shoulders?

I don't think it even gets there. All the momentum in the world.

People act like Kershaw cannot be gotten to. Guy has an ERA of almost 4 across his last 3 starts, and a career postseason ERA higher than that.

Lotta balls in game 2 were squared up, just hit right at people.

Dodger bullpen is fried, even with the day off. If Cubs can work deep counts and get him out of the game who knows.

It's not like the Cubs have a slouch opposing him either.
