Do you stick Q-Tips in your ear ?

I'll use the q-tips on my ears, but if i get no wax out, I'll stick it in my arse, and get some shit out !

In the ears, after every shower: I am addicted. And it has to be Q-Tip brand, no substitutes.

i also dip them in peroxide. Never used an off brand either.

Why not?

Several reasons
1. You can puncture your tympanic membrane (ear drum) if you go too deep.
2. Depending on how much wax you have in your ear canal, you can essentially wind up packing the wax deeper in the canal making it nearly impossible to get out without seeking medical attention.
3. Sometimes some of the cotton comes off the tip and you're left with cotton in your ear canal that is also difficult to remove.

Trust me, I see this all the time in my practice.

I should have had my tonsils out when I was a kid.

My ears must stay completely clean. Anytime you eat or drink it creates more ear wax.

I feel guilty using the Q-Tip, but I have done so my entire life ( almost). It just doesn't feel right to not pluck out that crap after a shower. It's kinda soft and ripe, then, anyways !

You know what I'd miss a whole lot, if I went to prison, not the most, but up there :

I'd hate to not be able to have some very simple things, like : not being able to get

a fucking Q-tip,toothpick, or a length of dental floss.

GoGo has used Qtips for many years as often have itchy ears and the Qtips really help. Sometimes the wax does get packed in deeper but there is a solution. Mrs GoGo convinced me to do candle waxing while at a spa at a resort last year. Its basically burning a candle in your ear for about 15 minutes. It gets all the crap out and you would not believe how much stuff falls out of your ear after doing this. Helps with the sinuses and allergies and so have been doing this about every 6 months.
