if it's not a playoff or championship game it's all ways done on a commercial break except Nascar

maybe some of the local feeds like the Blackhawks do it every game but ESPN/FOX/NBC/CBS don't show it every game

What is the point of standing? I think sitting shows more respect than standing

He's the best, and the crowds go crazy for him. Really gets me pumped before the game. Hawks/Kings game 7 that went into OT is one of my favorite hockey memories. Watched it at the sports book, on the main screen packed with fans from both teams. Second best thing to actually being at the game.

Its almost like I was foreshadowing here. With all the other threads on the front page, why not add this one in the mix with a BUMP.

Yes, when I’m at the game, the sports book, friends house, or alone, I stand.

stupid question. trying to say it is not a big deal when someone does it at NFL game is same as me not doing it in my living room is silly.

Paul Allen should go up to that Bennet homeboy in Seattle and just simply say "I own you and control you, one of my guys will be monitoring your activity 24/7, if we see something where you are being a homeboy, you will get a warning, second time, we will break your wrist...If you do not agree with my terms tell me now, Since I am a generous guy, I have arranged a position for you at Arby's. No harm no foul, What would you like to do future prisoner"

Damn, I need to own an NFL team. They have fuck you money and I know money trumps all. Donald Sterling should have never sold and he should have put his inmates in a zoo that he built

I don't usually watch the start of the game but when I do I always stand. For both national anthems when I watch hockey game with a Canadian team playing.

Screaming to drown out the words of the National Anthem is more disrespectful that kneeling at attention during it. Screaming and yelling is not "at attention." What would you think if an NFL player screamed and jumped up and down while the Anthem was played?

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

Not at home. pretty much like everyone else. At the games I do. Hand over my heart and sing.

I made this thread long before that even happened. So how could I have possibly been doing that?

I stand corrected Chazz, you would not have been saying that at that time, guess you were just honestly curious at that time.
