Do you Ravens fans still think Lamar Jackson is your QB?

Well , all of those QBs have had postseason success. Not dropping anything. I'm standing by my original posts in this thread. A QB like this can't win you a SB.. Think I've been very clear on this subject

Cam Newton went too a super bowl. So obviously a QB like that can win a super bowl. Unless you're going to try to make an argument Newton had no chance in that super bowl. I hope you wouldn't go there.

Newton is basically the rough draft of what Lamar is at this point.

He can't win you a SB is my point. Always been the point. We can continue this conversation if he ever gets a W in the postseason.

I just don't get how you can dig into this stance and not budge based on how he plays. He was super accurate this game and is improving each week. Its odd to write some-one off after 2 years especially with as much success as he has had so far.

But no point in arguing with a wall

It's awful. It would be similar to a sports writer saying Dan Marino was a terrible pick for the Dolphins coming out of college back in the 80s. Then the same sports writer proclaiming himself correct because Marino never won a super bowl.

If Lamar continues on the path he is on, he will be a HOF player that will have plenty of chances at the super bowl. He might win one or a few or might not win any, but too say that he doesn't have a chance is simply factually incorrect.

If a sports book was giving you 100 to 1 on Lamar winning a super bowl in his career along with Lamar being named super bowl mvp i suppose Red Eye would pass or take the 1 to 100 odds. Since he has a 0 chance in his opinion. When laid out like that you see how ridiculous you sound holding onto this argument.

Newton wasn't a primarily a running QB..so wasn't quite the same comparison. But if you want to get technical , Newton choked and folded in the biggest moment. Loved the Broncos getting pts.. I'm going to stick with my comments here that I've been very consistent with. Lamar will not win you a SB.

Newton is 4th all time in rushing yards by a qb(still only 31) and #1 in rushing touchdowns by a qb.

The wall is winning the argument ! He's not winning a SB.

I'm not writing him off as far as playing. Writing him off that he can win you a SB.. Been consistent with my comments

Just to be clear. You would pass on this bet at a sports book? 100 to 1 that Lamar wins a super bowl in his career and is name super bowl mvp(meaning he was the main reason they won and didn't win as a back up or injury)

100/1 odds is pretty much telling us its not going to happen. But since I bet alot of futures and someone gave me 100/1 I'd take it as a hedge. He likely won't be physically able to play that position soon enough so that 100/1 would be a good short term hedge.

I gotta give u credit. haha. So lets try this again. Same bet. But for whatever reason you can't hedge. Ur saying you will pass under those circumstances?

he's cool to watch. Him and Mahomes .....

By far the most fun QB to watch since first six, seven years of Aaron Rodgers

I mean the kid has had two chances in the post season. His touch looked much improved yesterday.

You cats in that Charm City are fortunate to have such a dynamic athlete in your zone

Well put

Taking the stance "this QB will never win a Super Bowl" is not exactly a high-wire act since only eight QBs have won a Super Bowl in past 10 years while about 120 (or more) have not

Lamar is a special talent but he is not better than Vick was - he is great - and when everything is rolling opponents get steam rolled - but when they go down 2 scores it just doesn't look like the Ravens can come back with his passing - there is a slim chance he can win a SB but it has to be soon because once he is not faster than 99.99% of the defense he is going fade out hell of quick - but he is certainly special and he is exciting to watch
