If you can pick winners....you will win way more with parlays than you ever would with straight bets.
If you cant pick winners.....you will lose way more playing parlays than you would playing straight bets.
That is the simple answer and based solely one mathematics.
The NFL is the easiest to play parlays and teasers because of the article above. The other reason is there are key numbers. Moving your line across key numbers is a huge advantage (3,4,7 being the most important). Last week I went into Sunday with large plays on Chicago plus 7.5 and Atlanta on the moneyline and hit both sides. This week I will do the same thing.
There are not key numbers in basketball. There are some key numbers in baseball totals but not as helpful. The dumbest bet I have seen people make is buying a point in the NBA. Are you kidding me.......like playing over 212.5 is more important than 213.5 ......then they are pumping their chests after they win and it lands on 213.
