Do you lie about your gambling?

Everyone I know knows I gamble but I just lie about how much. I bet about 5-10x more per game than I admit. (I average about $100-200 per game but pretend I bet 20-$40 per game.

I got the gambling gene from my father and started doing it since i was 14 years old,and since i didn't have to pretend or lie to anyone about it :)

i know a guy, who does, extensively, lines, records, his social status, no bankroll. in fact he doesn't bet at all. so i guess he lies about how he gambles when he really doesn't. odd isnt it? borderline sociopathic sad really. but a great fade cuz cant win?.

The only person who knows I gamble at all is my husband and he doesn't care, so no I don't have to lie about it. I can totally understand lying about your wins to friends though. Keeps them from asking to borrow money or worse yet, expecting you to just hand some out.
