I got my 4 year old daughter a shih tzu for Christmas this year. The dog is about 14 weeks old now and have to say she is a pretty damn good dog. I've always had yellow labs but knew my daughter wanted a smaller dog and no shedding was a huge selling point for me on the breed........to answer the thread, yes she lays on the couch

I know, I know, people love their dogs and cats etc.

But damn bro, these are hairy animals. They get this shit all over the couch and it gets on your clothes.

Couches are for humans, the floor is for animals.

Who's with me?

We used to when our Lab was a pup and we had older furniture but now since we have a new living room set we don't allow her on it.
Its a pain in the ass because we have to baracade the couches every night before we go to bed.
I did give her our old ottoman with her blanket and she loves that, but in the middle of the night I have caught her sneaking to the new furniture :>(

My 20 pound cockapoo doesn't shed and is on the couch now. Wife never let him on the couch early on bot now that he's 12 & he adores her
he for the last year or so hops on the couch with impunity and often!

You and MikeB always crack me up... yet JC and TopShelf keep opening more threads.

I have a baby cat, 3 months, he sleeps on my bed.

I grew up with cats. They seem to just do what they want. I think it would be near impossible to keep them off the furniture

Mine is getting used to that the word NO out loud means if he don't listen he is sent packing downstairs for a nite or two. He learns quickly. Furniture I don't mind, I have a tight carpet that he likes to scratch and nothing happens... what pisses me off is begging for food when you are eating, pooping or pissing in the room or making too much rockus at 3am. Besides that, I think I dont mind what he does.

Seems like a lot of these guys have pets just so someone will listen to them. Sad.

Since you cant read properly and you are retarded I'll sum it up for you, it's a cat not a dog, and there is not such thing like training a cat. You can lay down some rules and hope for the best with them.

LOL...you're referring to a cat here??? You're even more fucked up than I thought. Your cat begs for food while you eat??? WTF do you eat, cat food? Your cat often creates a ruckus at 3am.....then what he just starts pissing and shitting all over the walls???

I'm glad your cat is getting use to the word NO...tho...I'm sure he doesn't want to go packing downstairs for a night or two anymore.....in fact I can her him now...'anything but that'..

I went over to a poker game the other night at a private house and arrived a bit early so I sat on the couch to wait until it kicked off.

The dog jumps up on the couch and starts licking my face. No big deal.

I look down and my sleeve and pants are covered with hair. I look at the arm on the couch and it is coated with dog hair and didn't look like it had been cleaned in years. The guy that owns the house is single so I assume cleaning his dog hair is not high on his priority list.

How a person can sit down to watch tv and have some tacos on a couch coated with dog hair is beyond me.

The only taco he ate that truly counts really loves the dog. In fact, it was it that actually sealed the deal on said taco.

Who the fuck would invite this guy over to their house for a poker game?. He was probably there looking to sell a Kirby vacuum.

I allow my dog as he doesn't make a mess, and is sensible. I do see why pet owners don't allow their pets, some can cause problems.
