We all know BTJ is stupid cocksucker. No news there.
What I did find somewhat disturbing was that shortly after the results were announced, a rap/r&b station out here replayed Obama's speech, followed by a song that proclaimed 'you can't stop us (blacks) now' and was filled with verses about blacks taking power and some line about how Betsy Ross probably had some black person sew the American flag for her (why anyone would include Betsy Ross in a rap is beyond me).
I also noted that much of the celebration around last night was segregated - whites celebrating with whites, blacks celebrating with blacks (a few small exceptions). Sample size not that large but curious to see if this was the case elsewhere. Didn't these people vote for the same president for many of the same reasons?
It's the mentality of some people in this thread, coupled with the militant and isolated us vs. them mentality that minorities at times have assumed, that will continue to hinder our country as a whole. Have to think if anyone can bridge that disconnect, it will be a black president such as Obama, so we shall see.
