WAY LESS

#1 THEY'D all be broke if it was over 200, can someone pick a winner consistantly here.

#2 It's impossible to get 20 guys to post up 50 bucks for a frickn contest.

#3 It's a hobby for most, I guess many here are betting way above their head. I make 6 figures, my bookie takes no less than 100 a play, I make smaller bets online. If you are doing this day in and day out, an average if you make many plays should be far less than 200 as an average, I make plenty plays more than 200, but at many plays a day, my average is far less.

#4 Many of us have wives to account for, so our gambling fund is what is and we bet accordingly.

#5 It's great past-time/hobby. If the average guy posting here makes say 100K a year over 200 a play would mean average three plays a day, over 200 woud be 250 then 750 action a day minimum and 7 days is over 5 grand in action a week, HOPE YA DONT GO BROKE.

ON ly their bookies, or online accts. know this answer.

200-250 is an average play. 500 on a game I like alot. 300 on a horse race I like a lot. Good run in the Fall(5 figures) and a bad run the last month or so. Just can't hit anything lately.

Being in the GAMBLING business about 15 years I've noticed how some people bet. The more they make the less they bet. Why gamble when you make so much at a decent paying job. They have no need to gamble. meanwhile i see a guy who makes nothing betting thousands, very interesting. If you don't need the money, why bet it in some cases. Also I used to see guys who would bet thousands (over a months time) at a crap table get into a 15 year ols beaten down car you couldn't 300 dollars for. Many guys betting hundreds at the table with holes in their shoes, and wore same clothes for days on end.

Whatever it is my bet is over 80% are overbetting. I know its just a hobby, but the emotional responses and the clear cases of chasing seen on here makes this bet a lock.

My guess would be that those who post primarily in the Offshore Forum wager on average Over $200 per play. As for the Sports Forums, my answer would be opposite or well Under $200 per play.

Are you telling me that you believe everything you read in the Sports Forums regarding how much a poster is wagering? I have received enough e-mails from members of the RX that indicates many of the posters in the Sports Forums play from $10 to $100 per play.

I play from 50-300. Rarely more.

This ought to answer a lot of questions. Judge is an honest guy and I would be suprised if a lot of the guys here play anywhere near as large as they would have us all believe. Middlers and scalpers excepted, of course.

If we are talking about the "mean" wager rather than the "average" wager, I'd say way closer to 50-100 for a lot of RX members. I was suprised to see that Journeyman plays 500-1000 per play. Gotta have some serious bankroll (or rarely lose) to play at that level.

VVV

p.s. From my perspective, there's nothing quite like the 25-100 player, betting the board, favorites and overs, parlays and teasers, buying points, chasing on Sunday night.

VVV I never said 500 -1000 AVG...

I would say my avg is 400 , my minimum is 200, and most wagers are 300...

I do step it up occasionally...I notice lately you have come out of the closet and are talking like a big time bookie?
