Oh I know,,,you have a good nature about you Enfuego. In a small way I'm purging a little of what I went through during the time when I didn't have kids. Got it alot from my sister and it would burn her up when I'd ask her why would I want a miserable life like she had. LOL. All I saw of her was having a tough time raising kids and to me which seemed like an unhappy life. I thought kids was some kind of punishment handed down but now that I have them I love them ( once blind but now I see) can't imagine my life without them. I wouldn't say I'm miserable with Kids. I'm a stay at home dad so once they're off to school, I clean house then get to hang out the sports book every day. I am envious though of people that don't have kids and don't think they're selfish at all. The world is overpopulated enough, more people should consider not having kids.

It sounds to me like maybe some of you single guys, have snobs for friends. I've never seen this superiority thing for myself, but then again I don't hang out with people that make their whole lives about their kids. Can't stand the types that want to plan play dates, or organize everything their kids do. Not that I'm not involved with my kids, I am but there's a balance, and at this point I've reared my children to be pretty independent. They don't get coddled thats for sure. I have my own life as well, and when I'm out with friends, some have kids, some don't, the last thing we want to do is talk about is children, I'm out to have fun.
