Thanks for the number, but it is again busy all of the time. They must REALLY not like to talk to people!! HEre is a reply that I made in the poker room so I thought I should make here to clarify a few things

Well one thing that maybe you didnt read in the other thread swami is that partypoker HAS ALL of their money even as of 6 days ago when I made that neteller deposit and they took back the $150 which should not have been taken back.

Maybe I should have said that the $300 DID NOT go t opartypoker, it went to another book! Partypoker has 100% of all of my deposits, but also has my meager winnings as well!

Yeah, they don't have a phone number on the site, and Gringo could be a rich, rich person by auctioning off that fukkin' number he posted...

They prefer to settle everything by email, and they generally don't respond to your inquiries or just send form letter responses...they are clueless!!

They freeze accounts arbitrarily and sit on the proceeds for months/years at a time...if they ever figure out how their useless system fvcked up your account, then maybe you'll get your money back - but it is strictly on their terms and their schedule!

In short, they are scumbag thieves and use them at your own risk!

not that its any of my business but...if the original 300 did not go to party, why did firepay call party and tell them that the 150 was no good?

further, has firepay contacted party and said that the 150 they told them is no good is now good and your account should not be frozen and you should be credited an additional 150?

you mention that party is whole but it seems that the only reason they are whole is b/c they took 150 of your recent 250 deposit since firepay told them that the original 150 was not honored.

either:
1) im not getting this
2) party really didnt do anything wrong since they were told by one of their vendors that your $$ was not honored
3) you are leaving out a few details
4) you are up to something shady (which i really don't think. i just think that firepay has effed you all over the place.)

if i ran a business (party) and a vendor called me and said that i should not honor your $$ and this vendor was responsible for paying me, i would lock your account until i received word from that vendor that all was good. frankly, in this case i can't see how they could really trust the customer (you).

i gave up on firepay about a year ago. i had one problem with a $$ transfer in what i would call a "slow pay" and i stopped doing business with them. it is ok if a company's business model is to earn a few pennies via float but its another thing to take a month to make an eft.

firepay MAY be a great payment option but you should stay away IMHO. they probably are safe but the folks that run their operation either 1) are not competent enough to run a hot dog stand or 2) lock accounts at the first sign of an issue and sort out the problems when "they get to it." there were posts about this company months ago. issues with firepay are not recent occurences.

why use them over neteller?

there's been enough smoke to lead me to believe there is a fire. i won't scream "fire" yet but i will certainly "leave the building" and not use them while letting the rest of you take the risk with little prospect for any reward whatsoever.

Swami, thanks for asking those detailed questions. It makes me realize that I didnt post all of the facts, but the truth is that I have no idea what they all are!!! But her is an update to make it a little clearer. Again, this is from my end what I think happened since no one will actually ttell me.

I know that firepay wont respond to this thread sicne they NEVER want anyone contacting them when it is time to withdraw some money! Oh yes, by the way, I had that number that was posted and it is ALWAYS busy for me! But here is an update to the story above.

Ok first of all, for those who are not familiar with firepay, here is a general description as to how it works. In essence, they are very much like using a neteller EFT I believe. But lets relate this to my situation.

Ok, well I had used firepay for a few casino books and 1 sportsbook I believe. I had used it about 8 times with ABSOLUTELY no problem whatsoever. Then when the biggest ACH came to my bank for $300, my bank decliend it and called me to ask whether I had authorized these AUTOMATIC debits from my account. I said that I had and the bank said that in the future everything would be fine! Now I believe that the $300 was sent maybe on a Tuesday evening. I wont say where this payemnt was sent, but it was not to partypoker. Actually, the place in question is not an advertiser here, but htey were real cool about the situation anyway. They have their money too so they tell me.

Now I believe that it must have been like Friday or Saturday when I sent these $49 and $96 deposits to partypoker. Now of ocurse it takes a few days for payments to clear, but the $300 came back to firepay as declined. THEREFORE, THEY SENT EVERYONE AN EMAIL stating that ALL payments would not be accepted and to close accounts I guess. Well I had no idea about any of this until I made the neteller deposit and partypoker kept the $145. So maybe that clears up what happened somewhat.

But now of course party poker ahs all of their money and htey still wont reactivate my account so I can get my money in my account!

players69-

thanks for repsonding to my posts. i know they can be lengthy. anyway your response makes things a bit clearer. a few issues still remain....

1) did firepay allow the original (49+96)to clear at party? i have a had time believing that party took your 49+96 then another 150 on top of that. Bottom line is that they are even yet they still froze your account which sucks just a little (a lot for you though). i think i would do the same though if i was in their shoes. let's see......

vendor alerts me of scammer -scammer redeposits using a different payment method
icon_eek.gif
and makes me whole - i lock the account - scammer cries foul and tells story about vendor screwing him - i still have not heard from vendor - account stays locked until i hear otherwise. you get it..it looks shady. firepay tells them your money is no good and you redeposit through neteller a few days later. comon..it looks shady to me.

2) i think the answer to question #1 is probably, "you don't know" whether or not the original 49+96 cleared at party.

as i said, firepay screwed this whole situation. i don't think you did anything wrong here but your activity in combination with firepay's warning leads party to think you are dishonest.

posting your issue regarding firepay is the right thing to do. with that said, you dissed party here and in the poker forum when frankly it does not seem as if they did much out of the ordinary.

party's cust. service is shaky but to post a "serious warning" party in the poker thread is a bit irresponsible IMHO given their role in this situation.

FYI, im not a party shill but i enjoy playing there. additionally, when i see a post that doesn't look/smell right to me i respond if i have insight or experience that may be valuable.

Oh I love to play at party poker as well and will delete this thread the moment that someone there can talk to me regarding this situation.

I am sure now that party did not get paid their money at all, but of course no one will confirm this. So me and party would be even except for the money STILL in my account!! That money would be mine and to be honest with you, I dont even remember how much was left since it was 4 days ago.

The strange thing is that they didnt freze my account until about 2 days after I sent them the neteller deposit!! And that was after I called and bitched about them taking out my money and told them that since I had no idea whether they got paid or not, it looked like stealing on their part to me! I KNOW THAT every payment to party was honored, so in my view, they stole the money!

Well I guess that pissed them off because the next day, my user name and password were canceled!

When I think of Firepay and my one and only experience with them--the phrase that comes to my mind is from ESPN's Sportscenter--"Stumblim, Fumblin, Rumblin". (In other words incompetent. They clearly had my money back from the sportsbook and I don't remember for certain which one it was--but-to get them to put the money back on my credit card took a minor miracle. I thought that I was in the "twilight zone". Now--I wonder instead of Sports Center's words---a simple one comes to mind after reading here--Can you spell crooked?

I also had a problem with FirePay and just would like to share it with you. Maybe someone can advise on this.

Normally when you create an account with them they need to verify your checking account before you can use FirePay account. They did verify it with a small deposit to my checking account. After that I used FirePay to deposit my TheGreek.com and in about 2 days later I get an email from FirePay saying that my account was suspended due to an error:

"RO3: Account not able to locate/No Account".

Obviously they charged me a $25 fee and now want me to send a moneyorder of the payment to them in the total of (the original transaction made to TheGreek.com + the fee to transfer of $3.99 + the penalty for a failed transaction of $25.)

I started fighting with FirePay represenatives and we figured out that my checking account number was wrong when there was a transaction from from my checking account to Firepay at the time when I was depositing money to my TheGreek.com account. I did have enough funds on my checing account, my checking was active and I talked to the bank and they said that nothing was denied nor do they block any websites such as FirePay.com. Adding to that, the bank said that there is no way that FirePay could have deposited that small amount to verify the account with the wrong checking account #.

That makes me to believe that there was an error on FirePay's end after I created and verified an account. Or maybe they are doing it on purpose to make more money. In any case, they do not want to hear anything about it and just keep on replying with automated reposnes to my questions. All the reponses do not answer my question. They are claiming that if I do not send them a moneyorder I will be sent to collection.

I guess its the best way to resolve this issue is via Collection Agency. I don't want to send a Moneyorder because it can be lost or they can make another scheme and say that they did not recieve it but yet will cash it out. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions of how to resolve this issue. Thank.
