I was taught to round through 2nd with your left. It depends if your strides are timed, you could be half way waiting to see if a balls caught. You're not thinking I got to touch with the left. Chances are the dipshit behind me grounds in to a dp.

right leg is your drive leg/stop leg if you're righty, 3rd base coach uses his left arm, then you're in a pickle

left, if you played and had decent coaches you should know this. I like the question, has nothing to do with gambling though.

When rounding the bag, you need to touch the inside corner of the bag with whatever foot the stride brings you to. When running through first, you need to run through with whatever foot the stride brings you to. What do you want a runner to do, take a half step just so he can touch with a certain foot?

ALWAYS the left foot on the inside corner of the base. Hitting the inside corner of the base keeps your momentum toward the center of the diamond, which should create the quickest time around the bases.

You don't hit the bag with whichever foot your stride creates. If you learn baseball the right way, you instinctively learn how to run the bases so that you are always hitting the inside corner with your left foot.
