Why are you afraid of a little objective comment?
I love negativity ... that's the first thing I look for when investing: "Why shouldnt I invest in this stock??" Then, if the why should i invest outweighs the why shouldnt i, I buy. I look at downside potential first, never upside. My upside PPS predictions are based off of fundamentals and growth. If a company is growing yet is priced to shrink, eventually big investors will realize this and hop on board. You just gotta beat 'em to the punch and wait it out a little bit. Get in before the big boys and you get paid when they buy, then you move on or ride the wave.
My Pinksheet Roulette plays are typically the same strategy. However, I get in before the big news comes and when the retail investors see the news, they want to buy. I speak with the CEOs and CFOs of every company I invest in. I google all the directors, I check linkedin, I checked zoominfo to find out what their backgrounds are. If I dont like management or they're continuously unavailable to speak with me, I move on. On the pinksheets, you also want to have an ungagged TA, that way you can always make sure you're up-to-date regarding share structure (ie Authorized, Outstanding, & Restricted shares, then determine the float).
