I know Ocean View was the favorite to come out of the bracket becasue they had 2 solid pitchers, I think Robinwood comes out of district 62.

Sight unseen, Im feeling Robinwood maybe give District 55 a run for money iniTustin in 2 weeks. Especially after beating a highly touted OceanView and the best Westminster team in long time. I was working with Robinwood Seniors in Fall ball, and would watch Robinwood travel ball team.

arty: my son made a diving catch with a runner at 1st to end the game, i almost cried. Down 2-0 are #2 hitter hit a 3 run homer and followed it up with a run scoring double in the 5th to give him all 4 rbi's in the game.
Tomorrow we play robinwood (same field) at 10:00am and if beat them we play them again on monday for 1st place in our side of the bracket.
btw railbird the parents and coaches cant get enuff of these spreads, they eat it up can you please give me a line for saturdays game because they will be asking me right at 8:30am. LATER, TIME TO PARTY:toast:

It would have been nice to see ya winky and you mised a good game, down 7-5 in the bottom of the 6th our first 3 batters singled to load the bases and bring the top of the order up.
Our leadoff hitter looked at 3 straight strikes, our #2 hitter works a fullcount then looks at strike 3 & then our #3 hitter goes down swinging. Good game but dissapointing finish.
I think hunington valley will go thru this robinwood team without much trouble.

the fact that no one on robinwood could hit more than 100 feet is what killed me after our two tuff losses, i think the fact B.Marshall is a baseball guru and had 1/2 the players from his "a"travel ball team & the "b" team he oversees playing on both west. & hv helped him get over. sorry i just cant give the kids credit, no way they came even close to matching us in talent.
robinwood gets crushed next time out, and railbird if you thought the hv coaching was bad you should have seen ours, pathetic.
btw wish i knew you were there for that game as i dropped my son off for each game but then hit silkeys for a couple brews untill game was over, would have said hi otherwise.
