Please send Pay.pal payments to family and friends, OR you tell them you're paying the fees and make sure we receive the proper net amount. Several people have me paying the fees, so I receive something like $ 97 instead of $ 100. This is NOT a business transaction for me, it's a not for profit activity. I (we) will be paying out 100% of what I (we) collect to other people
Unless we win something of course
Question for JOH.
Is it technically possible to allow changes to picks once made?
I know there is usually not much sympathy for this, but I think it would be a benefit to the contest. One could put something in early and then come back and make changes later. This would help prevent folks from missing a week altogether due to spacing out, losing their connection at deadline time, or being out of service. Sure, it's their own fault, and I never miss and actually benefit from this rule, but from a promotion side, you want to keep everybody happy and coming back next year.

NO. If you are in a contest, get your shit together and get your picks in. I was one who spaced out last year in the midst of being in the money of the NFL contest, and I am still pissed i did it but rules are rules. Taught Me a valuable lesson and I will be more than on time each week as DEADLINES ARE DEADLINES!
I've never missed a deadline, and I benefit from guys like you who do. But I've worked in Public Relations, and if I was running a contest, I'd want to keep all my paying customers happy and coming back.
I hear what JOH is saying that we do it like the Vegas SuuperContest. Makes sense. Still, most everyone probably jots down their favorite picks early in the week and changes them as the week unfolds. This just allows you to do that online and in the process, covers your butt if something comes up and you forget the deadline later. Again, I'm happy to benefit from guys spacing out, but there's also a value to keeping everyone happy and coming back. It's just good business.
