Might be a good time to think about sending in MO's if that's your payment method. Can take a week or more to reach LTFL.

Please send Pay.pal payments to family and friends, OR you tell them you're paying the fees and make sure we receive the proper net amount. Several people have me paying the fees, so I receive something like $ 97 instead of $ 100. This is NOT a business transaction for me, it's a not for profit activity. I (we) will be paying out 100% of what I (we) collect to other people

Unless we win something of course :)

I'm gonna have to withdraw from the NFL Contest, but I can participate in the CFB one. I will reach out to LTFL for his email today since I forgot to write it down to pay...

Question for JOH.

Is it technically possible to allow changes to picks once made?

I know there is usually not much sympathy for this, but I think it would be a benefit to the contest. One could put something in early and then come back and make changes later. This would help prevent folks from missing a week altogether due to spacing out, losing their connection at deadline time, or being out of service. Sure, it's their own fault, and I never miss and actually benefit from this rule, but from a promotion side, you want to keep everybody happy and coming back next year.

NO. If you are in a contest, get your shit together and get your picks in. I was one who spaced out last year in the midst of being in the money of the NFL contest, and I am still pissed i did it but rules are rules. Taught Me a valuable lesson and I will be more than on time each week as DEADLINES ARE DEADLINES!

Technically, it's possible. Realistically, it won't be. Sorry to be blunt but that's how it rolls in Vegas, so that's how we do it.

I've never missed a deadline, and I benefit from guys like you who do. But I've worked in Public Relations, and if I was running a contest, I'd want to keep all my paying customers happy and coming back.

I hear what JOH is saying that we do it like the Vegas SuuperContest. Makes sense. Still, most everyone probably jots down their favorite picks early in the week and changes them as the week unfolds. This just allows you to do that online and in the process, covers your butt if something comes up and you forget the deadline later. Again, I'm happy to benefit from guys spacing out, but there's also a value to keeping everyone happy and coming back. It's just good business.

It would become a nightmare if multiple entries were allowed, trying to consolidate picks coming from the same poster into 1 set of picks. If you got numerous posters putting in multiple entries it just adds to the time it takes to get everything in order by poster and hope you didn't screw up somewhere.

It takes enough time as it is to score 1 set of picks from each poster, not to mention there are 2 other contests to grade as well.

If you do not line the format then don not enter....simple as that. Rules are laid out in black and white every year.

You don't understand my post. The format benefits me. I was just making a suggestion as to how the contest could be improved.

So much for Public Relations. Our total entries will take a big hit this year barring a miraculous last minute walk up. Blame could come from a few different situations, but not allowing changes to picks would be far down the list in my opinion.

Yes, I would agree it's not a big factor.

I would guess the numbers are down due to more and more similar contests popping up elsewhere. Some on other Forums and some on Sportsbooks and some on Pool Hosting sites.

We're going to get a late surge, at least for the NFL
