Brady has struggled for awhile when you can get pressure with 4, especially this year. He was 1 of the worst QBs in the league in QBR in that situation.

Choked is an overused term in sports but not seeing Gronk on the 2pt conversion was pretty bad.

Did you read that they were only rushing 3 or 4 guys and still getting pressure?....
If Denver was dropping 7-8 into coverage, how many open guys does he have to throw it to?

He either had to dump a bunch of throws or get sacked....I think he made the right choice.

Yeah he only had Gronk for a second but he still had time to hit him.

No, but he did start to look his age. I suspect that will start happening more next year, just as it started happening for Peyton over the last year. Father Time beats everyone, and Brady is right at the QB age where the battle commences.

Getting Solder back and the Pats O being built and catered to Brady's strengths (quick reads, short passing game, throwing the ball to a cyborg human at TE) should help him extend a little longer but it's tough to say where the cliff is. Manning was still tearing up the league last year and then around week 12 he just wasn't good anymore. Favre had 1 of his best statistical seasons with the Vikings in '09 and then in '10 he was one of the worst QBs in the league.

Getting hit 2x as much this year as a normal year probably didn't do his body any favors.

lol manning had a top 10 defense 7 times in his career. stop whining about him not getting enough help. the only reason he has 1 superbowl is because of his team. he threw 3 tds and 7 int's that year. brady took a 31st ranked def to the SB with no running game. thats the difference. thats why one is called a choker and another gets the benefit of the doubt.
