To many readers and not enough depositors here. As I look in the baseball forum I would think books would be begging for the people that are posting in there. But maybe baseball isn't getting that much action right now. When Football get close the books will be wanting to advertise on the back of my donkey for business.

Is the Rx losing the battle?

According to Alexa rankings the Rx has dropped while other forums have surpassed this forum. Mind you, I take the Alexa rankings with a grain of salt.

Wil, I am sure some of the members are curious. Are these rankings accurate?

For the record

I doubt anyone pays serious attention to Alexa rankings mainly because they only measure users who use Alexa toolbars. The Rx.com uses a couple of sources, I know Hitwise is one that is supposedely fairly accurate but they are not free to use by the general public without signing up and paying a fee. Management also besides Hitwise uses another source whose name escapes me right now.

Traffic is fine here at the Rx. Take the last four months as an example: There have been plenty of active threads everyday, huge numbers of new registrations on a daily basis, and lots of new posts.

One hundred thirty two days ago we registered our 40,000th poster today we are up to 44,788 which is an average of well over 30 new registrations a day. Plus an approximate average of 250 new threads per day and 30,000 new posts per day. The numbers are there on the front page of The Forum to compare to the numbers below copied from my post on Feb. 29th..

40,000th poster registers at The Rx.com today..
<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Poster Titansrule who registered this morning at 3:25AM EST February 29th. is the 40,000th. registered poster here at TheRx.com posting forum.

Personally I am very happy to see such remarkable growth in the number of registered posters at the site.
Since June of 2005 our number of registered posters was less than 20,000 which indicates an average of over 20 new registrations per-day for approxiamtely 32 months.

The Rx.com sends thanks to everyone including lurkers all the way through our most prolific posters for your support.

sponsors leaving had nothing to do with baseball or football or sports.
it was due to line services. sports options.
