Why does the Ayers - Obama thing seem a bit pediophile-ish to me?!

I mean Barack was 8 at the time they met, or something right?

What on earth is the right's obsession with young children? It is DISTURBING to say the least.

Rob...what in the world are you trying to say this time?

LOL...please tell me you are kidding.

Even if it is true there is nothing stopping anyone from throwing a fundraiser to raise funds for a candidate. I can throw a fundraiser in my house for McCain or Obama, doesn't mean they share my views from 40 years ago.

What is also critical to note is that Ayers never killed anyone. Yeah he bombed some buildings during the 70's, but for the last 30 years or so there is nothing to indicate that he has been anything but an exceptional citizen trying to better the country.

And some like to quote Ayers as saying "we didn't do enough", however, he claims that refers to his efforts to stop the US from being in Vietnam and not more bombings.

What the F*CK are your smoking?? The guy should be in jail for life...He bombed some buildings??? How would you feel if you wife or children happened to be in one of those buildings and lost a leg or suffered mental trauma...But hey at least they didn't die??

And you can tell an awefull lot about a person by the company they keep....Rev. Wright...Ayers....Rezko....And McCain has his "great" friends also

Barman your posts are always sharp, but ANYONE who "bombs a couple of buildings"

IMO should be locked up for life.....At any moment with intent people could have died and for that sir you pay consequences

But in fact, no one died so the consequences which followed were wholly appropriate

Everything else beyond that is imaginary hyperbole on the part of the stiffnecked status quo sheep desperate to defame Senator Obama

JL, I'm one who believes the consequences for detonating a bomb in an unoccupied building should not be as stern as one which has people in it.

For example, I deplore GW Bush for ordering our military to bomb occupied buildings in a country that was not engaged in warfare against us.

I know that 'you' did not imply support for those particular bombings, so that example is not directed at anything you personally wrote.

Rather it is simply offered as a means to help understand that I too find bombing buildings to be deplorable. And the legal consequences should be appropriate to the damage caused.

For about 3 months now the Repugs have been asking why the media is not doing and expose on Obama's connection with Ayers.
If the media apparently is so uncooperative then why arent the Repugs and their media (Rush, Hannity, Fox News and a myriad of others) looking into it themselves!??!

You know why, because MSM media and everybody else ALREADY HAVE!!! AND THEY FOUND NOTHING!!!!!
Yet these jerkoffs just dont want to let it go.

Smear tactics of the lowest kind!
(where you know its not true, yet keep saying it)

Moral majority/clarity my ass:nono5:

And they wonder why the country is voting for the other party.
You cant fool most reasonable people all the time. Eventually they will wise up and see right thru the bullshit

Pulling shit like this all the time will backfire on Repubs eventually. Upto about now people voting Democrat the only thing couldnt stand about the Republicans was the Bush adm, not the party as a whole. But its looking more and more like that people will vote for anyone who doesnt have an (R) in front of their name.
And the Reps have only themselves to blame
