McIRICH- I agree with you on Edgar...very underrated and a potential HOF'er. Having said that, comparing Manny's career numbers to Edgars just shows how unbelievably awesome Manny is.

The tale of the tape here is EDGAR is in what may be his last season, while Manny is only 31 ! MANNY is on pace to break Hank Aarons all-time RBI record!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Manny is an RBI machine. His career numbers with men in scoring position is staggering.

No arguments from me on Manny, just saying Edgar is 40 years old and still stroking it. Manny definitely drives the ball more with power.

BTW I layed a ton on the Red Sox today, your bragging on them sold me today Fish.

Your right McMariner, Edgar is getting better with age it seems....and Manny could be out of baseball by that age for a number of reasons.

ps- Just think, isnt Barry 39? Now thats unbelievable.
