The NFL preseason is solely for the NFL to make easy money at this point...

It's been that way for 60 years. They use to have 6 preseason games.
If you had season tix you had to buy the preseason games.

Might have watched 5 plays when I was walking past a TV, although I have looked at the Patriot box scores, learned Mac Jones is the starter since he never played. Also saw they may have an intriguing 3rd string QB

Teams would actually use the games more to evaluate and actually use their regulars for much longer stretches.

Now its just an excuse to charge for tickets for basically a glorified practice.

Bears got some weapons for Fields, but he did not play much at all to see if he can throw the medium or deep routes. He got credit for 110 yards passing on two screens that the receiver/RB ran in so the yards to his credit are misleading.

He needs to be a pocket passer who runs when necessary but they did not show that in the 3 games.

If he runs like last year (1100 yds) they will win some games but if he does he could get injured and be useless.

Agree, suffer every year watching this offense less shit show. They have no depth , often injured and it always gets exposed! Can beat cards, panthers falcons, 1 packer game, 2 misc. games 6 games Win possible.

Wish the Pats O line could say that. Watch this closely. The Patriot backup O linemen are bad. Belli shoulda drafted an O linemen in the first round. We needed one badly. Instead he went for his first love - defense.
