The United States invasion of Afghanistan was a retaliation for the Taliban not surrenduring OBL. That makes the Taliban just as guilty as OBL.
This retaliation is comparable to WWII in the South Pacific. The USA were retaliating for what occured in Pearl Harbor. Boy, did we get back at them with Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
